    They charged me for something I never signed up for. They claimed the money was charged to a bank account I closed 2 years ago. After showing proof via screenshots they stated they escalated the issue and I would receive my refund in 3-5 days. We are now 10 days later and they say they need more time to resolve. Requested a supervisor none is ever available and they never call back. I have email communication of everything but still no refund.

    Last week I started looking for loans for my company to purchase equipmentf for my business. . Bright was one of them but I backed out it because I saw the monthly fees . Maybe 2 hours ago i saw that they took out 97 bucks. I called **************** immediately . They looked at my transaction but did not see a deposit from bright just a withdrawal. They are disputing the charges. Shame on you bright.

    We have been working with for bright for about a year now they have had my payment that I have made but they stated the bank bounced they back i have been working on getting this all fixed and updated since i found out it was happening with no help. Then i got Transferred to a collection agency after they stated this would not be transferred since they were getting calls from me. I was calling more then 3 times a week waiting for an answer and they kept giving me different dates it would be handled. I then finally talked to a sup that told me he would get this all rushed so i can make the payment that was passed due and get the payments started again at ****** from that day i heard nothing from the company. I then called and now i have an collections account that should not be in collections as well as They did not give me an answer on where the money that was taking out of my account now is. I have been calling more to get this fixed then they ever had about there money... I need answer I also need to know why this happened. I tried and tried you can look the only collections we have are collections for medical debt.. I am working on finding the original contract but this loan got transferred to for bright.

    Bright Money charged my bank account for $97 for a membership I did not sign up for. Upon requesting a refund, I was sent many fictious links that lead me elsewhere not being able to get my money back. Total scam.

    Someone had created a false account under my info and I was charged a ridiculous fee that customer support didnt want to refund me because they oddly refuse to believe fraud, and wanted me to login with info I didnt have! I now cant pay for medicine I would have been able to if it just wasnt for the $40 charge. Terrible customer service, terrible fee, and a terrible finance app overall.

    I am rejecting this response because: bright money is still charging accounts even after contacting customer support. I missed out on having life saving medicine because of this charge. Nice try bright money but until you stop charging me and other people with the same issue, my thoughts and review are 100% negative and I will never even use this service after the fact fraud wasnt cared about by them. They know its fraud and refuse to close the account not made by me.

    I signed up for Bright Money. The Company charged me two charges $97 and $10 . There was no indication they would charge these fees. These fees were taken out unauthorized. This company is a scam and I would avoid them.

    I initially had opened the account with Bright Money in 2023 and didn't think about it. In Jan 2025 I realized the membership fee and attempted to close the account and withdraw all funds.I initially tried to withdraw funds from a sub-account in early-mid January, 2025. There was an issue with "Plaid" and I gave account information to a representative for withdrawal as a previously linked account was closed. I eventually linked a different account and "Plaid" was successfully linked. this was after about a week or so of going back and forth, support tickets closed with resolve, language barrier, having to update every support call with the same information to no resolution. The initial amount I had requested to withdraw eventually got transferred into another newly-created sub-account instead of disbursed. After a few days it disappeared from any account on the app and was assured it was sent for deposit. Weeks later nothing. As of Feb 6 it still shows active after closing, so I think they will attempt to withdraw from me again). It has been a back-and-forth since then regarding getting any disbursement from them. I will get a confirmation of funds being disbursed, nothing for a few days and then a request if I want the funds disbursed to the confirmed account. The ticket closed and nothing happens. I reopen the ticket and it will get escalated and the same conversation happens again and again... I will verify accounts and id (if the link hasn't immediately expired) then hear nothing for a few days, get a response in the middle of the night and the ticket closed again. So it's been a month of trying to get any funds from them.

    Through vague **************** or Response tickets that go nowhere it is not anywhere I would ever place money again. 6 weeks to close an account.

    They have contacted me directly with personal information after I have made CFPB and BBB complaints.
