I purchased two digital avatar productsFemale Kiggy and SweetHoovesthrough Gumroad from a seller named *****. After a private disagreement that was unrelated to the actual purchase, the seller revoked my access to the products without issuing a refund. I did not violate any platform terms, nor was there a problem with the content itself. The avatars were removed purely as retaliation.I reached out to Gumroad support to resolve this issue, but they failed to take action despite multiple follow-ups. They have not enforced their own refund or product delivery policies, and the seller has refused to respond.This behavior violates consumer protection expectations for digital goods, including the right to continued access or refund when paid products are revoked.I am requesting either a full refund or restoration of access to the digital content I rightfully paid for.Initial Complaint

On June 13, they replied again saying it was still under review.However, since then, I have received no further communication, and no refund has been issued. I am a seller on Gumroad and my account reflects $3,816 in total sales. However, I have only received two small ****** payments ($279.90 and $106.90) and a partial direct payout of $357 after I warned them I would report the issue to federal agencies.I am still owed $1,097.56 and Gumroad continues to delay payments with no clear explanation. On April 30, 2025 I was charged $59.99 for a yearly subscription to ********************* which is provided through Gumroad services, located in *************. I have been asking for a refund through a series of emails and have not received any response that is helpful. I was provided an email that is no longer in service. The problem is that there havent been any recent updates to this online magazine since 2023. In 2024 I paid my subscription but no new editions were provided so when my 2025 charge went through I asked for a refund. I never received any notice that the publishers were discontinuing their product. I cannot remove my credit card from the website until my subscription runs out (1 year) even though I have canceled it online. Please help me with my refund.Initial Complaint

I purchased Two digital products online from gum Road on September 23rd 2024. I was unaware that I was not signed into my gum Road account, and upon purchase, an old email address That is not active appeared when I Clicked the purchase button, Meaning that I was not able to retrieve my two purchases totaling over $25. I intern, contacted gum Road but they have no customer service except for an ** chat bot. I had spoken with this ** Chatbot every Month for the past six months and they Informed me that they have found my purchases and that they would merge it with the correct account. Each time I spoke with the ** chat bot they guaranteed me that they were elevating this issue to a higher level of importance and that it would be resolved. We are on month sixth now and I still dont have my purchases. I am a high school art teacher, and I was using these purchases for my students, I informed the ** chat about this and they said that They would elevate it to a human, that has not happened either. I dont even care about the money, its more the fact that I have been trying to get these brushes for six months now, and customer service, which doesnt exist has been telling me that they would do the simple task of merging these two purchases with my official account And it has never happened.Initial Complaint

I requested to cancel my Gumroad account on [24 days ago 3 Jan 2025]. The Gumroad chatbot informed me that my account had a balance of $9.07 and that I would be credited with an additional $0.93 to reach the minimum payout of $10. After the payout, my account would be canceled. I was told support would contact me in 2-3 business days. After no response, I followed up with their chatbot many times (1st time: next 2-3 days, 2nd times: next 48 hours, 3rd times: next 24 hours, 4th times: next 12 hours, 5th times: next 4 hours). Each time the chatbot indicated the support team would be in touch. They did not contact me and, after reaching out via email and receiving no actual help, my emails were answered by "Andie" who incorrectly stated that I needed to "earn" the money. My multiple requests for a $10 payout have been ignored, and their support has been unhelpful, and failed to honor their chatbot's guarantee that my account will be credited $0.93 to reach the $10 threshold. I set up a Gumroad and followed their Terms of Service to make a product to sell to a customer commissioning me who needed a way to pay me. Gumroad charged 30% in fees, far more than their stated 10%. Now they have suspended my account without stating how I violated their terms of service (I did not violate them I followed them to a "T") It has been weeks since I submitted my appeal with no contact, they refuse to respond to my emails, or allow my to receive the money. Thus, robbing me and my customer as they report that they too were charged for the fees to purchase that I was charged to sell. I demand my customer is fully refunded such that they can pay me someplace else and for them to unsuspend my account. This is a complete heist of everyone's money.Initial Complaint

I just now tried to create an account on **********************; I saw a referral to that company for publishing and that is my interest and my occupation. I entered honest information that can be verified easily, but the website rejected my information, saying it could not be processed. If I am being called a liar as a first impression, that sounds to me like what psychologists call "projection." I was 100% honest as I am known to be "painfully honest," as my published writings would display readily. So one day when gumroad decided theres enough money to scam me they suddenly decided to ban my account and steal all my money i had 100 dollar in it and they don't answer their email and don't have any communication available.
