This is the 4 th fax associated company in 4 weeks without my permission and has told me they removed all my billing information after having to call complain go thru a bunch of runaround to get a refund than do it a week later with another fax company under same owner different name. Now after everything not a week later this happened a fourth time and I am getting the running around over another **** charge on an account I dont even have there isnt one open however they have my billing info and I cannot remove it I tried I was told it was done by a sister company cuz they shared it with now 4 companies this is fraud and theft and I dont know how a company can get away with all these illegal transactions and copying my info to all these accounts. I want my refund and to remove my info I am sick of having to chase around every week for charges and money out of my account I am on disability and so far this month 45 dollars has been take. I was overcharged for sales tax on both my April 2022 and April 2023 Dropbox.com renewals. In each case, I was charged over 7% for sales tax, and the correct rate is 6.25%.I've been trying for several weeks to get Dropbox to fix this and refund me the overpaid sales tax for 2022 and 2023 renewals. So far, they keep asking me for my location, but have taken no action to fix the problem and refund me.Could the BBB kindly get Dropbox to refund me the sales tax overcharge, as Dropbox seems otherwise incapable of fixing the problem.Thanks, *************************Initial Complaint

Dropbox disabled my personal account that has over 22 years of family memories on it. Births, graduations, 10 years of recitals, I have 5 kids, three of them are adult children and all of their childhood photos are on there because I trusted Dropbox. In addition to that we have medical records, legal documents, and files for work on that account. My husband does trainings for a large health agency and everything he has created for his trainings is in there. Every handout he has made. Weve been paying customers for over 10 years and now that they disabled it I cant even get any support because you have to log onto your account as a paying customer to get any support. I am so sick over this and we have been trying everything for the last 6 days.My husband has had limited communication with them. They wont communicate over phone. They claim we have pictures that sexually exploit children on there and we dont. Obviously theres a mistake. But they refuse to look into it and to even resolve the issue. It is very insulting and potentially damaging to be accused of something so disgusting. My husband and I both have worked with kids and /or teens in some way our entire careers. Always background checked. Always in good standing with our employers. Dropbox wont even investigate to see why their system as mistakenly flagged our account. Or even if our account was compromised in some way. And they say they wont re-enable our account. And the best I can find is that after 90 days of being disabled all of our family memories will be deleted and gone forever. I am so sick over this. As a mom its my worst nightmare come true. As a photographer (who depends on Dropbox to hold images as I process photos and to free up space on my computer so that I can process my imagesI am angry. I just want my memories I dont even care if they dont allow us to be costumers. At this point I wouldnt want To anywayknowing how they treat unfit consumers.Initial Complaint

Last December or January, I subscribed in desperation to a program called Dropbox to help me tape a retirement dedication. Being low tech, I had no idea what was required to do this. I called someone at dropbox for help. After a long talk which I didnt understand. i emailed & asked to cancel my subscription. I am retired and on on social security. (fixed income) I asked for acknowledgement but never received it. I was okay to pay for the one month. But now I receive another bill automatically paid through Apple for additional $13.19. I called the credit card company and reported the above. They gave me a temporary credit. I had hoped to get credit fro the last 4 months but thats not up to them. i just received my new bill. There were two credit for $13.19 at the top, but then rebilled 2 more payments. I called the credit card again but was told to cancel it on my phone! I am 81 years old, limited mobility, losing my earring and eyesight and i am now told to learn how to do things on my phone. Please tell me how to reach these people by a correct phone # or emailand hopefully get 5 months of both charges reversed. May not be a lot of money to some, but I cant afford this. 05/22/2023 Formswift/Dropbox charged my credit card $37.00 for an unauthorized membership. I have emailed multi times requesting that they ensure to cancel the trial period they said they show no record and continue to charge for membership. They have email steps to cancel membership on the application however there is no Plan Tab to click after you select the Setting to cancel on your own. Extremely frustrating there is no toll-free number to help even their Chat line is unable to help. I feel they are making it deliberately difficult to cancel and are misleading customers. Please assist me in getting my refund and canceling my membership since Im sure this company runs this type of scam on all their customers.Initial Complaint

We realized that we were being charged $19.99 a month for Dropbox which we never subscribed to. In order to reach someone at Dropbox you have to sign into your account, which we dont know bc we never signed up for, to be able to cancel it. We were charged over $400 for this over a period of two years and there is no way for ** to contact this company. I tried to email and if was the sales team and they said to reach the support team which guess how you reach them?? Yep, log into your account. Disputed with my credit card and they said that they need something from Dropbox awarding a credit. It is circular logic. Cant reach anyone from Dropbox to take care of it. Please help me by making them call me to settle this situation. It is very similar to a scam ** there is no way to get in touch with them except by logging into my so called account that I have with them that I dont know how to access ** I never signed up for it!!! Please help!!
