    DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY! They do not care about protecting you or helping you. Go anywhere else. Someone hacked my account and drained it. They closed my account and did not even try to contact me beyond one email (I did not see the email until a few days later, it happened right before Thanksgiving holiday and I was traveling). When I called to ask why they locked me out the customer service agent told me that they are unable to provide any information about my case. They told me my savings from the account would be sent to me by check. I asked how much, they gave me the number and it was missing over $1000. I said I want to dispute this, I was hacked and that's not the correct amount, money was stolen from me. the woman on customer service keeps repeating that my account is closed and they are unable to reopen it with me, and that I can't dispute the transaction unless I have an open account (THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SHUT IT DOWN WITH NO NOTICE?), just kept telling me she can't provide any other information and had NO solutions to offer in the case of fraud. Why didn't they try to get in touch with me and find out what's going on with the sketchy activity and missing funds before they shut everything down? They were just content to let money be stolen from me. For all I know they were trying to pretend I didn't notice and keep the rest that is supposedly insured. I had to escalate to higher level to dispute this. They said it will take 10 days to process, if they do not resolve this I will 100% take them to court.

    NO ONE SHOULD EVER USE THIS ONLINE BANKING COMPANY. THEIR SECURITY AGAINST FRAUD IS NOT HIGH DOLLAR MINIMAL. THEY FOLLOW NO FDIC LAWS AND COASTAL COMMUNITY BANK KEEPS YOUR CASH AND ALLOWS ASPIRATION FINANCIAL LLC, TO PERFORM UNETHICAL PROCEDURES NOT CONDONED BY FDIC.

    I have notice that while I was locked out my account they were adding monies onto my bank statements. Violation 31 CFR ***** AND I HAVE YET TO GET MY MONEY. They claimed that my bank account was closed on May 14, 2024, but they kept my June and May SSDI BENEFITS.

    am sending this complaint to report Aspiration Financial LLC. In the month of October of 2023 my account was closed down without prior notice (I am unable to provide the exact date given that this happened a while ago and can't seem to find the email that notified me of it). I called the bank to ask what happened and to know what would happen to the funds I had in the account, and was told a check would be sent out and that it was supposed to arrive within 10 days. Since it didn't arrive even after the 10 days, I called again and was told another check would be sent. After a month of not receiving the check, I called again and we changed the address for the check to be sent to another address where I could also receive it.The check never came. I kept calling and speaking with support, but they just kept on telling me to wait for the check to arrive. About 10 days ago I spoke to another representative, unfortunately quite upset, and demanded for the money to be sent directly to my other bank account on file, and was told she would let the correct department know and that she would contact me and see about solving the issue.They never did, and today after speaking to another representative, she said that my complaint had been sent to the correct department on December 5th and never got a response, meaning the last representative I spoke to who told me she'd be getting me help with the funds being sent to my account never contacted the right department.I have already let them know I would be filing this report, as well as the Better Business Bureau and a police report for a scam. Although the amount wasn't high ($150) I am a business owner myself, and offering great customer service is very important to me, and it falls within my values to report when things like these happen in hopes it will prevent other customers like me having to go through something like this.

    My account has been frozen for over 4weeks without any reason or cause. I have over 20k in my spend and save account. I am now in debt and homeless. There's something that is obviously criminal that they are doing to their customers. Destroying lives and businesses. They must be held accountable.

    At first everything was ok. First time someone got hold of my info and charged something, no problem I got my money back from that one. That was maybe a year ago or 1 1/2. Fast forward October 2022 amount of 99.95 was taken out of my account first off my card was in a box put away and the phone was never used that day I disputed it they just got back to me and said nope it was me that did it yet when I look it up online nothing comes up business is a scam so I will never go through this bank again

    The bank has a 5 business day hold on check deposits within the first 30 days. They have no internal way to remove their own hold even with a hardship. I called multiple times trying to get my paycheck hold removed as I live check to check. They refused even though I had explained my situation. As a result I had to drive on a bad car battery and it ruined my alternator. Now I have about $2000 in repairs to my car, late fees on bills, and no groceries. Furthermore they told me the day my check clears it won't be till 7PM in my time zone, meaning I can't even get my car seen by a shop till the following Monday as it will be the weekend. Honestly the worst banking experience I have ever had. They claim to care about the environment but have no issues with seriously hurting their customers, to the point where no one would want to use their services that could help the environment. I cannot say it enough, stay away from this bank!

    UNABLE TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT => POOR OPERATIONS/EXECUTION

    A very basic website error has kept me from opening an Aspiration bank account: I repeatedly get asked to link my current bank account to Aspiration, even though I have already done so.

    Over the past one month, I tried to open an Aspiration account three times (each using a different email address) and called customer service for help two times. Despite these repeated efforts, Aspiration customer service never got back to me about a timeline or an update about a resolution.

    If Aspiration cannot even help me get my account open, I have no faith that they will be good stewards of my savingsat least not until they get their operations in order.

    I am disappointed about having to give a negative review to a bank that is the product of admirable ideals and vision. I sincerely hope this will push Aspiration to get their operations in order and that I will be able to become a customer in the future.

    This company is extremely fraudulent, they start locking money on funds over 2000.00's and will hold your account hostage until you provide selfies and ID's. My funds have been locked for over a month and no one from aspiration has even attempted to resolve the issue. Why would they though they have my money.
