My **** Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible (a classic car) was towed by AAA to Corvair Unlimited in beautiful condition. It was received in beautiful condition by one of it's owners:**************** and ******************** records show the owners to be:Corvair Unlimited ***************** aka ********************* *************************** *************************** Mr. ***************** aka ********************* received my vehicle and kept in touch me over an extended period of time as to when he could get to reviewing the car and what it would need. Communication between us was consistant.He was excited that my car was rust free and rare because it was rust free. He stated that a number of people were asking to buy it. I had stopped his shop to see my car with a realtor friend of mine, He would not answer the door. i asked him where the car was and he did not answer and stated that he had food poisioning. I told him to feel better and kept in communication. He kept avoiding me stating that he was in the hospital, or that all was well with my car and he would get to it. I kept telling him to take his time. I knew he was the expert and I did not want to pressure him or rush him. I texted him again recently asking about my vehicle and he texted "I am in the Hospital. Back off!" At that point I drove in from Lake Tahoe to the San **************** Departmet for them to arrive on scene at his shop in order to bring him out and show me my vehicle. I was horrified to find out that my car was stripped down to the body, rusted and in horrendous condition. It was such a shock. I am so hurt and confused. I have the full Police report, all communication, a full ledger of our communication history, multiple detailed condition photos of my vehicle being loaded by AAA, full records of my vehicle being received by Mr. ***************** aka *********************, receipts totaling 3k for his "repairs", A full detailed Police report stating my vehicles condition and full detailed photos of my vehicle in it' now destroyed condition.
