Ledger is not a secure platform. They do not actively review all offers through ledger. Any services offered through Ledger are considered unsecure and "at your own risk". There is no security utilizing their hardware wallet other than the standard abilities of any hardware wallet. When I make support cases, if I make a case in the wrong category, they will automatically close and tell you to make a new on in the right and will not allow replies. They do not make an effort to perform security checks on vendors and expect the customer to know this. It is more secure to create your own hardware wallet rather than spend $150 or so on one of theirs. I had a security concern with a vendor trying to force me to send unencrypted data with my hardware wallet (official site through ledger live) and they closed my ticket stating it was the wrong channel.

I did not receive the $70 voucher. They have not responded but I was notified that they did "close" my case.Yes, it does involve advertising of a free $70 Bitcoin voucher with the purchase of Ledger Flex on their website. I contacted Ledger because I never received email confirmation or an order / tracking number, but the charge appeared on my cc statement on 12/8/2024. see below "I placed an order for the Ledger Flex on 12/8/2024 and have not received confirmation of my order but you charged my card. I also noted upon checkout that the delivery time was 2 days. It is 12/18/2024 and I still have not received a tracking number or order confirmation or status on the Ledger Flex order. Please advise with Confirmation email Order number Receipt of purchase" When I try to place a return, it tells me that I am outside of the 14-day window. I have tried on multiple occasions with the same display. I am requesting for refund. This entire process has been shady.

On 4th of June 2024, I fell victim to a multilayered scam operation run by Ledger (*****) (******************), all of which aim at contributing to the goal of robbing and defrauding innocent people in the equivalent of 172,480.97 USD from my Ledger account to fraudulent investment firm(s).

I have tried approaching Ledger regarding this matter, but they have not responded at all.

On Feb. 29, 2024, I was victimized by a phishing scam that was being promoted as a legitimate offer within my Ledger Live hard wallet account transaction history. I received a notification from Ledger a ****** based company, with is incorporated in ****** and has offices in *************, that I had received an award of free crypto coins from the sponsor of the crypto coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) which I owned and had in this account. I went to the following website listed in my Ledger Live account: *******************, which looked like a legitimate site. I was told they would need to connect to my wallet at Ledger in order to send the air-dropped coins to my account. I clicked on the Ledger icon. They asked for my 24 word passphrase. I felt somewhat uncomfortable, doing so, but I gave it to them, mainly because I trusted that Ledger would not be sending me to a scam website. When I went back a few minutes later to my Ledger account, most of the crypto coins within had been drained and sent to a series random wallet addresses. The loss amounted to nearly $9K. I contacted their customer service group, who finally responded five days later, basically to say sorry, but they won't take any responsibility for my loss. I contacted their legal group, who basically said that due to the public nature of blockchains, they have no control of monitoring and screening out scam offers to Ledger clients like myself, who entrust Ledger to protect our digital assets. I believe this assertion is untrue. I maintain accounts on five different crypto exchanges. None have sent me bogus offers like this one. I maintain hot digital wallets on several non custodial sites, none of which has ever sent me a scam offer like this one. Ledger even admits that just before my claim, they had purchased and started using software to screen for such scams. My case is that Ledger bears some responsibility for my loss by not screening for potential scams offers and giving the scammer access to my account.

I bought ledger Nano X on Dec 24, 2023, LDG2650217. It arrived late, so I contacted the customer service for a return. They send me the *** return info, then I could schedule a pickup for this return. I did follow what they asked, and scheduled a pickup via *** website with the confirmation from ***. *** pickup confirmation number: AME240119003445 Unfortunately, *** never came and pick it up, and now the package is lost. I contact ***, and they confirmed that they didn't pickup at their fault. They say the place was closed. That's even not true, my apartment's community never "close", for example, they can deliver the package whenever they want, same as pickup. I could not schedule a second try because the return number for the pickup can only be used once. When the first time, the return scheduled, that number can not be used for a second try. I did everything that I should do for the return. I contact Ledger support team, first, they are very hard to reach. Second, they refuse to refund me, and can only provide a $40 coupon, which is not acceptable at all. Since they are the party has agreement with ***, *** didn't pick up the package, means they are the one who should take the responsibility for the lost.

Ledger advertises secure offline asset storage. I purchased their product from their website for $250. It arrived and I started storing assets on it. Within days after, my assets have all been drained, which is advertised can only happen if you have the device on you (you have to physically press two buttons to confirm transactions they claim). This is false advertising. I couldn't save my assets because I was at work and didn't have my device on me to push the buttons and send my assets to a safe location. Meanwhile they were being drained by someone without my device. A thief that doesn't have my device to press the buttons is still able to drain my assets somehow, which shouldn't be possible. Ledger stole my money, drained my assets and their support will not respond to me regarding their refund policy. I just want my money back for their faulty device, my $2k+ in assets I don't expect to get back.
