My wife applied for a job as a Data Entry Clerk with Invisible Technology, and the further she went through the onboarding process they tried to scam her. She went through an interview process with their "Head of Growth", *** *****, via ********* Teams via text. Once the interview was completed she spoke with their "Head ****** The offer letter came from **** **** who is their "Head of Hiring" who is the one who emailed her an offer letter. After reviewing and signing the offer letter the following day, she was told they would mail her a cashier's check to then use to purchase all of her equipment required. The cashier's check was from a "vendor" located in ************** and turned out to be a fraudulent check. While the check was being deposited, *** ***** asked for her to send $4,000 via ****** which would go to an unnamed vendor close to her. We assumed its to purchase the equipment, but during the whole process of the check depositing our banks flagged it and safeguarded our accounts. We've reached out to *** ***** with updates but he has yet to respond to any chats.I have documentation of everything outlined above including the whole conversation, pictures of the check and where it came from, along with profiles of the individuals and all emails.
