      FRAUD. I booked a professional and day of our appointment I went to lactation which was a sketchy parking lot. I arrived on time and called professional for exact location so I good meet with her. No response. I called and text for 15 mins . While at the parking lot waiting for a response, I sent email to Stylseat customer service about incident . Letting them know in real time I was at location and the stylist was not responding. After15 mins I left and even after marking the appointment as professional was a no show I was charged the next day. 2 days later the professional text me from another number not on the website and says her phone broke and she reschedule the appointment on her end theough the website. But she wouldnt charge me since she did not provide services . I checked the website and see the appointment she booked had another pending charge for $150z so I cancelled the appointment and sent another email to styleeat with pictures of text as further proof she did not provide services and attempted to scam me yet again. The audacityso this is what style seat emails me today: Im so sorry you were charged even though you weren't able to receive the service you booked.If you need a refund, your professional will need to provide you with one. StyleSeat is the tool beauty and wellness professionals use to manage their business, including charging clients, so we are unable to provide refunds or stop payments on their behalf.WOW What a Scam this site is allowing scammers to fraud customers and even with proof not refunding they are making money of of these scams as so are perpetuating these practices. This is illegal and just wrong . So angry and disgusted with a company that thrives off of letting people get scammed and knowingly pays these scammer so they too can get paid . Shameful!

      If i could give 0 stars I would. I booked a week before my appt, and was messaged a day before saying the woman I booked with is now not available. I had already took the day off work. After quickly finding another stylist through the app, an hour before the appt. I get a email saying the stylist didn't confirm my appt so it's cancelled. Okay. I find another stylist, and book for noon the same day. I was not able to get in contact with them. I texted, called, and no response. Not waiting to be charged as a no show, I show up to the appt. and the ********** is closed down! By this point I knew this company and its "PROFFESIONALS" were on shady stuff, so I locked my card so it could not be charged. Somehow Styleseat still charges my LOCKED CARD for a service THAT WAS NEVER RENDERED! They STOLE $216.30 FROM ME! and I want my money back, I am never ever ever ever ever ever ever using this "service" again.

      I used style seat (Feb.21) to find someone to put crochet braids in. On the site they advertised, ***** off of ***** for new clients. an immediate holding fee of 2.23 was placed on my card. I was expecting to pay ***** for this visit, and before sitting in ***************** I asked if the discount would apply. she stated yes, and I went forth with the service. I was shocked to see that (Feb.23) I was charged ***** plus the 2.23!!!!, I reached out to the stylist to let her know of the charges, and she kindly shared a screen shot of what her app showed and the charge showed ***** on her end. I asked if she could make the adjustment, but she was not able to tell me how to go about getting my money refunded. I feel scammed by this app. I am not new to using this app, although is has been years prior; I recall that once your appointment was booked, the holding fee would be refunded, and a charge for the services rendered would be charged, follow up with an option to leave a tip. I never got that option. I don't know who owns this MESS of an app now, but I am warning everyone that I know to stay clear of it. I wish I had come to the BBB prior to using it. I will be removing all my information and getting rid of this app. If anyone. can tell me how I can go about requesting a refund with Styleseat, I'd appreciate the suggestion....and to any responses to this, do not issue me any apology, just refund my money please and thank you!

      Styleseat is a really good app to use especially when your trying to build clientele. They help to promote your business so of course you have to pay a small fee for that. I will highly recommend Styleseat !

      I used StyleSeat for crochets. I was given my price and booked the appointment. Once my hair was done, I was charged $100 more plus $21 for tax. I have never paid tax for salon services.

      Im a professional hairdresser of 24 years and is the worst online booking system Ive ever used. After 3 weeks of zero client bookings (except for the ones I was doing manually) I could not for the life of me figure out why client bookings had dropped. The booking was showing on my end and after 3 weeks of this mystery I had a client text to ask if Id stopped doing hair. Turns out my booking availability was showing I was booked for an entire year - basically my books were close. I didnt notice it because the open slots are showing available on my end. They responded it was a glitch that had been fixed but never sent out a notification to the professionals. Three weeks of no bookings! In addition, the option to auto/manually charge is a farce. It doesnt work and automatically charges clients no matter what. When I complained about this the response was to try switching the option to manual checkout (NO SH**T) it doesnt work. Also, if you dont use StyleSeat to check out your clients and use their credit card system you do not get pushed up in search rankings. Then they charge you $30 for new clients even though these are clients I put in the system that have been with me for years. When they book on style seat for the first time I have to take the $30 hit for this? Are you kidding me?! Im hemorrhaging money losses left and right with this APP. Its trash! DO NOT TRUST YOUR BUSINESS WITH STYLE SEAT.

      Would prefer a zero. Scheduled an appointment with stylist. Charged card for holding fee but then never arrived. Unable to cancel because then lose amount for service for was never completed. Ridiculous business practices. Business hard to find most likely illegitimate business and fraud. Plan to file another complaint as they now have cc information and personal information. Never use this site.

      I reported to them about their client searching up my address and threatening me and they made it seem like I wanted a refund. They told me they cant give me a refund and never responded back when I said that was not the issue. This is a safety issue and theyre ignoring me.

      Got my nails done by someone I dont believe was licensed. I got them done on Sunday. It is now Thursday 8 of the 10 have popped off with ease. Sad that it took her over 2 hours to complete. I do not trust this site and would never recommend

      This site lets anyone sign up and present themselves as a professional. There are people on here offering services that they are not license for and have absolutely not business advertising as a service for fee. I had to actually sue ******* who was and is still unlicensed but has every hair service under the sun listed and is making fake profiles and posting fake reviews for their unlicensed home business.There should be some responsiblity that if you are going to let people advertise services for sale on your site and you want people to trust your site that you at least have some standards in place to ensure people are licensed according to their state guidelines.
