Avoid this company at all cost! (similar experience to the last review posted here on BBB - Owner showed NO interest to resolve customer complaint)I have work contracted out with Powers Plumbing for a client in the past. They did a ok job. So I called them again. The dispatcher only told me they charge $169/hour. Long story short. 1. They did NOT inform me of the driving time they charge. 2. When I arrived on site 35 min after the plumber arrived, he had done NOTHING - the scope was laying around on the driveway and ladder was still in his truck and he had keys from the lockbox in his hand. I stayed on site for a full hour. 3. Then I was charged for two hours of work! WORST OF ALL, when I questioned the 2 hours were charged, the ***** called me - not to apologize for omission on their part or LISTEN to my observation and account for the hours at all, but to continue to defend for the 2 hour charge. No CUSTOMER RECOVERY. He was focusing on winning an argument. It's really a shame to see that happen in service business, especially with the ***** of the business - which tells you a lot about the business!To save myself from more angst and misery, I OFFERED TO PAY HIM FOR GETTING NOTHING BACK, just to get him off my back and not wasting MORE TIME on his ego over the business matter at hand.It may have been a long standing company as they claimed, but the current ***** is not in the right mindset to run it or to OWN it.Review from Steve R.

Plumbing Debacle. My experience was really jarring. I experienced really poor workmanship by two of their plumbers on what should have been routine installs of new sinks, commode and shower fixtures. Provided all new quality fixtures with all new plumbing previous to install. What I received from them was really sloppy work with a leaking sink and commode that leaked through to the floor below! Owner saw no urgency to my request for repair and was aggressive and arrogant instead of simply providing honest and efficient customer service. The whole experience was not good.

When I told the new owner that a toilet that they installed on my second floor was leaking through the ceiling on the first floor of my home he told me to turn off the water and use another bathroom because he could not send anyone to my home to fix the problem for a couple of days. I told him his response was unacceptable since I had already paid for the work. He became very aggressive and intimidating over the phone. I hung up without resolution and had to call another plumbing company to have their work corrected.Review from Virginia H

I have been a satisfied customer of Power's ********************** for MANY years and I'd like to particularly single out ****** fine work at my house over many visits relating to both plumbing and heating - especially heating. I have 2 ancient floor furnaces which he has kept operating winter after winter. He understands them and coddles them and somehow gets them to heat the house. I'm one of those oddballs who love floor furnaces so I'm most grateful for ****** fine work.Powers Plumbing Response

I had another great experience with Powers Plumbing yesterday. I ordered a new tub spout and shower head with ***** ODeas help. ********************* got them installed super quick! Theyre beautiful and they work so much better than the old ones! Count me a long time satisfied customer!Powers Plumbing Response

**** was very efficient and fixed several problems with my plumbing in no time. He also checked the water pressure and found that the regulator was broken and replaced it. We now have great water flow in all outlets throughout the house. Its wonderful to have good showers again!Powers Plumbing Response
