    October 13th - Check in October 15th - Check out We checked into the Porto Vista hotel on 10/13. The original room we received was room 216. It had a large lip of tile that was raised ask you transitioned from the living space to the restroom. I was concerned because I had an issue with my right foot and I did not want to trip. Regardless, even with no issue this seems like a major issue. They moved us to a new room that has the same exact issue. I called and they said most rooms would be like that. The room has dirt and crumbs all over the floor. A huge build up of dirt around the fridge. There was splatter of something on the walls and the painting that was on the wall. Multiple areas of the room were unfinished. Either no paint, scratched and dings or mismatched paint. What infuriates me is that i have had zero response from management. I have contact Expedia who even said they aren't returning their calls. I have emailed the hotel 3 times directly using the general manager email. I have left 2 voicemails and I sent an inquiry through their generic messaging portal on their website. I wont a refund considering they falsly advertised their commitment to providing exceptional travel rooms and service but more importantly I just wont a response back. /All of my photos would not fit. I have a couple more I would like to share, if needed. thank you in advance

    This hotel was a awful experience!1. When checking in the front desk gave no information about the hotel or location. Wanted $50 more for early check in.2. We were told to leave towels and trash outside the door! They were left there 24 hours. We had to go to the front desk to get clean days.3. AC not working properly.4. No drain stopper. Was told the didnt have the correct size to fix it. It was like that for 5 days.5. Waited 2 hrs for a hot dog at happy hour! We asked or water and took forever to get.6. Elevator was not working other elevator was very slow. Faster to take the stairs. 7. Over priced for these conditions.8. 2 remotes for Tv that didnt come in clear.9. **************** awful! Took forever to get anything done.

    1. At check in, the Front Desk gives the guests a map of the hotel which has QR codes for hotel information and Restaurant menu.2. We do not service rooms so ask guests to set used towels and trash outside of room. Housemen work everyday and pick up items from the corridors so would not have been there 24 hours since they work 9a - 5:30p.3. Engineering went and fixed the A/C 4. We have drain stoppers on order but they are backordered 5. Restaurant said they did not wait 2 hours, maybe 30 min because of a mix up with the order.6. One elevator needed the door motor replaced and was fixed in a few days. Since one elevator was down the other elevator was slower because everyone using only that one.7. Everything handled in a timely manner except sink stopper.8. All rooms have 2 remotes due to the ** not able to be programmed for the cable remote.9. Items addressed as brought to our attention
