  I do not recommend using this company. They promise better rates with credit card processing, but then tack on additional monthly fees, often without notice and adding up to almost a hundred a month, on top of the actual processing fees. The monthly fees just show up in your statement. Then it is difficult to get a response from their customer service to get clarification as they route you to the actual processor. They do not tell you that your account is not PCI compliant and then charge $33/month for it. Their PCI compliance process is extremely difficult unless you are very knowledge about internet security. I closed my account and they charged me $175 for failure to return equipment. I was told I would get a refund upon the return, which i did the next day. However, they refuse to refund, saying the swipers were in poor condition. They were not damaged, they were in working condition. I don't know what condition they were expecting after being used. Being told one thing and then not giving the criteria or abiding by what they said, is not good business.

  I was recently contacted by Appstar regarding a potential switch in my credit card processing services. I clearly expressed my disinterest, yet they insisted on sending a sales ***resentative. I reiterated my lack of interest, but today, the *** unexpectedly showed up at my business.Despite my clear communication, the ***resentative insisted on calling his supervisor on ************ in front of my employees. When the supervisor came on the line, he claimed they simply needed to collect information about my business, which I again declined. Shockingly, he suggested that I was being dishonest about my disinterest and claimed he could ***lay our initial conversation as proof.This accusation, made publicly in front of my staff, is not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. Even if I were in the market for a new credit card processor, their aggressive and predatory sales tactics have assured me that I will not be doing business with them. I will also be advising others to steer clear of Appstar

  Been with Appstar for a while now had nothing but positive and great customer service. Absolutely love working here. They are very supportive and in good team to work with.

  This company are crooks they told me that they would do my inventory for and my labor rates for me and a month and a half goes by and I tell them to come pick it up I am done and they go and tell me I can't I have a no cancel able contract and I was not told this I was told I can cancel at anytime if I am unhappy so now they are telling me it would be 495 to cancel and a **** dollar contract cancelation fee also and have been taking fees out of my account alot higher than what they told me, they told me it would only be around 20 dollars and that's it and now there saying because I haven't used the system the fees would be higher but I told there sales man that came to my store to pick it up Is multiple times and he finally tells me he can't help me anymore that that's what someone told him and that I needed to deal with appstar i think these people need sued and after reading all the complaints on here it looks like iam not the only one on here that's been lied to and done wrong I think all of us need to come together and go after these people so they can't do this to other people

  Scammers. This company has continued to collect monthly processing fees with no credit card processing business taking place between our practice and AppStar. When called to cancel, **** talked in circles and gave misinformation about industry standard practices. They automatically renewed contracts without consent or signature and are trying to charge a $500 cancelation fee. I would not do business with them, as they do not care about their customers and conduct shady business.
