      I am the manager of a mobile home park. I have a tenant whose mother passed away, whose name was on the title to the home, and I am told the Greenpoint company's name was also on the title, because they gave a loan for the purchase of the home. Now the woman's son who has been placed in charge of her estate is trying to proceed with moving other family members into the home. However, we require that the home be owner occupied. This means we would need the new occupants to be added to the title. I have been presented with receipts from Greenpoint stating that the principal amount of the loan was entirely paid off, and I am told that the title was never released to the home owner (the woman who passed away). In attempting to contact Greenpoint, the tenants have discovered they are no longer in business, and were purchased by one company, then another, and are now owned by ************ This is what I am told. Even so, *********** has not been able to help either. The tenant is at their wits end, not knowing what to do next. I just wanted to share this message because it sounds like they aren't the only ones. I think it is extremely unprofessional for a company to leaves things this important up in the air like this, especially after the loan was repaid.

      I have my mom who is deceased estate. She passed in 2020. A few months later a lien was put on her property. I paid the lien off last year in November 2022. I was told it would take a month to go through the system stating all issues are resolved. It is now May of 2023 and i have yet to get the title nor has anyone reached out to me concerning the title. The property is a **** mobile home that was purchased new. I reached to the clerk of courts after the debts was resolved and was told to go to the *** sign a form and get the title. I also contacted a lawyer who stated the same with a fee. Once I got to the *** they stated that it was a lien still on the property with a lien date of August 09, ****. The lienholder is BAHS **** of America FSB. I went to the **** of ******* and her name nor Social Security number could not be pulled up. I was given a sheet from *** with Residence and Mailing address of the lienholder. With no success of contacting anyone. I got more info from BBB and called : *****************-257-4117, ************, *****************-289-5746, 800-232-3075 ************ , ************ all these numbers went to a promo on medical alerts. I emailed several times with no response at all. Only an advertisement to get a loan. I need the title to my estate for business purpose.
