    I have contacted this company multiple times about my account issues. CS misinformed me about my account. And they placed negative remarks on my credit. Posting that I am current and late. When questioned about it, ** claimed to escalate this matter. But instead you get automated emails with no help. Unless you pay on the due date, they will consider you late and put negative remarks on your credit.

    To Whom It May Concern,I am writing in regard to a recent copy of my credit report issued by your company. Upon review, I have identified several items that appear to be inaccurate. The accounts in question are listed below for your reference:UPSTA/FINWSE - FW62**** $0.00 In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681g), I am requesting that you provide copies of all documents currently in your files that were used to verify the accuracy of these accounts. This request pertains specifically to the materials that existed in your records at the time of this inquiry.Please do not respond with a general statement that these accounts have been verified.     I was told that I wouldn't have to pay any more money after my car was repossessed and after I paid the money they said I now have to pay an additional $450 to get it from the impound lot that is an hour away from my house.

    I opened a loan with upstart in November 2019. Then my payments were affordable. $283.44. After two months of difficulty and hardship during covid 19 I requested to extend the payments and UPSTART used a forbearance on the loan and added the payment to the back of the loan increasing the payment. The payment increased to 330..19 I was out of work June 2024 due to short-term disability and requested a hardship forbearance again. That was when I became behind one month on the loan upstart says I am two months behind but it should be only one month be hind and they are constantly pushing the loan towards default which I am desperately trying to avoid to no help from upstart even though they send nice emails saying they can help, they are not able to.

    They have reported me to credit unions and it has effected my credit score majorly,I've called and spoken to several of there call center agent telling them this information which they keep saying we're going to "update", they have me for this whole entire year as if I never have paid, I have the funds drafted from my account automatically every month for them to continuiously report me as if I'm not paying is complete crap! Not to mention they sent me to collections for 173$ without proper **************** WAS PAYING EVERY MONTH once again being drafted from my account again when you call them they pretend to act like you've never called and this is all "new" I'm over this loan I'm still paying it but I'm done with this fraudulent company not to mention harassing phone calls I had to threaten them to stop calling me and harrassing me!

    I had a car loan through them and traded in the car a month a a half ago. The place I got the new car has informed me that upstart has cashed the check and the check has cleared the bank but they are telling me that they have no record of any check but like I said they have cashed the check. They refuse to close out my loan are still trying to charge me my monthly payments and every time I call they tell me I have to wait 10 days for a decision and Ive had to wait three times now.

    All dates are 2025 The loan I had with Upstart was paid on 4/11 with an overnight check from a large dealership in ******* OH. It was received on 4/14 by Upstart and not credited to my account until 4/17. I have called many times and sent numerous emails to try and get the title released and am only told it will not be released until 5/2. This is not only inexcusable but rude and unethical. When asking why it takes so long to 'go through their system' I am told that's just how it is. Holding a title hostage due to corporate incompetence or simply lack of caring is not illegal but it should be. Upstart loans is the absolute worst company i have ever dealt with, or heard an experience with in my life. This was also agreed to by the dealership sales person i dealt with who has been doing this type of thing for a number of years.
