Got a truck here at this place. Staff was extremely helpful and happy, UNTILL after I drove off with the truck. I paid over 18k cash. The second I left the problems started. Car wouldn't start, my mechanic said the batter was way too small for a truck. Tire blew out on freeway, you can't pump gas without it stopping every 4 seconds. The driveline just fell off the clip. I went back multiple times and they said they would send gift cards for the battery, I have NOT received them a month later. No one calls back no one is willing to help. They sell trash cars and do bare minimum prior to selling. Very dissatisfied.. when I cMe back another time the finance douche lied and was yelling at me. Very disrespectful said "I'm screwed, you signed on multiple lines saying you are screwed, you got a car in ********** he kept saying, your screwed, and there's nothing they can do. Mind you this is the day after I got it. Shady crooks work here. Thule lie cheat and steal to make a buck. I recommend going to a reputable place. This place is full of thugs and s*** cars. I want my $ back and my gift cards I was promised

We here at Legend Auto strive to ensure our customers have the great buying experience, as well as a great vehicle. I am personally sorry that you had a poor experience with us. I am the one who mailed off your DMV and sent you a gift card in the same envelope on October 24, 2023. I do remember you came into the store and mentioned that you remember receiving it however, we will resend it with certified mail to ensure that you receive it.

We complete a safety inspection and complete any recall performances needed, however used cars can be unpredictable. We are transparent that all vehicles are sold AS-IS, Nothing Promised or Implied, No Warranty unless purchased. Here at Legend Auto we follow CA Law and all of our customers sign each one of those documents and they are included in this response.

Thanks for all of your help! I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi. I am in need of serious help. this is my short version to a very long story. One week ago my 3 children and I went car shopping for me. I knew what i had in mind and had already got my auto loan through my schools credit union. $30,000 auto loan. I found a 2012 4runner that I feel in love with. After doing the paperwork and giving a additional $3,000 cash I was able to take the truck home. The very next night I started to smell something old and moldy. Once I started to clean the truck I became aware of a small puddle of water on the passager floor. As I continue to look I found mold. *** not just a little mold, mold that is growing mushrooms. The truck can not be safe to be in for a long period of time. I cant say for sure, but my guess is this is black mold. There is 100% no way that the dealership didn't know of this. It is so awful. I called them the following day ( 2 days after I took the truck of the lot ) to talk to them about this problem. I am nothing but sad that nothing can be done about this. It just seems so unfair that I a hard working female with a great job working for this state can be treated so unfairly. There has to be something I can do. Please help.... I would just like to give the truck back get whatever I can back from my loan and forget this ever happened. It has been a mental overload and put me in a place of depression. AND the reason i had to go out to buy a new truck is because mine got stolen. So until I was able to save some money I was riding my bike to work. Now I am still riding my bike to work but have a $30,000 truck sitting in front of my house that I cant drive I cant help but have a different view on mean people these days. Please help please let me know what I can do. I would just like for the deal ship to take their truck back give me my loan back ( I would even pay the restocking fee ) and forget this ever happened. What a nightmare. This business needs to be looked at, people need to be warned. So So Sad~! Thank you

This letter is in response to the complaint filed by ***********************************:

Please be advised that Legend Auto was not aware of any such issues while the vehicle was in our possession. *** first time we learned of any water puddles was when *********************************** called our dealership and notified us after the fact. As soon as she informed us, we told her to bring the vehicle in at her earliest convenience for inspection and repair. We would like to emphasize that ********************** missed/rescheduled 2 appointments that she had made with us for this issue.

Legend Auto operates in transparency. We sell all of our vehicles As-Is and make that abundantly clear to our clients. I have attached multiple different As-Is documents that ********************** signed and I also included the Contract Cancellation Option, which she signed declining to purchase that option at the time of purchase.

*** Contract Cancellation Option allows the client to cancel the purchase of the vehicle before a certain deadline and also has a mileage add restriction. This cancellation option expired 3/15/23 at 5pm and had a maximum mileage added restriction of 250 miles. *** cancelation option purchase price was $250 and had a restocking fee of $500. ********************** declined to purchase this Contract Cancellation Option.

At his time, we have already completed the *** and CA government registration process for the vehicle and ********************* is the legal owner of the vehicle. We can offer to purchase the vehicle back from her. *** purchase price to buy back her vehicle would be adjusted to account for the cancellation option price, restocking fee, mileage adjustment for added miles, and the *** fees and registration costs; all contingent on a mechanical and cosmetic inspection of the vehicle.

Just as we told her the first time she called us after her purchase, we can also fix the issues for her and she can keep the vehicle.

With all of that being said, we believe these are 2 very reasonable offers to resolve this issue.
