On 1-18-22, I attempted to remove my personal information from this site on their removal page here https://www.advancedbackgroundchecks.com/removal . After disabling pop up blockers and completing the form and captcha challenge several times, it was obvious the page simply doesn't work (probably by design). I tried several browsers without success. I have been threatened and want my personal information removed. I attempted to contact them through the form on their site but that doesn't work either. There are no email addresses on the site to contact them.Business response

I emailed them a while ago asking them to remove my information off their website as well as my family member's personal information. They responded and said I needed to follow this link: https://www.advancedbackgroundchecks.com/removal I tried using that link but it just looped me and there was no clear way to take the information off. I am requesting help from the BBB to resolve this issue. I am rejecting this response because:when you said it may take longer because you need to verify the request of the sender, me submitting this through the BBB should be enough proof because you ignored all of my previous requests to have my information removed. I have contacted advanced background checks 3 times about removing my information off this site. It is very dangerous that this info is published and could put me in danger and i have followed the prompt like it says and I can’t delete my information nor is there even anywhere to click for me to opt out. Will not let me past the View full report page unless I pay. Cannot contact a real person.Business response

This consumer does not have a profile on our site. The payment screen she is referencing is from an advertising link to another website, as they have a profile on her, and AdvancedBackgroundChecks does not.
Her issue was resolved by our staff and her profile is not on our site.

7/1/2021 I had moved into a home in a rural area to remove myself from a violent situation. I had moved on 6/23/2021 and no less than 7 days later, my name and new home address is accessible on this site. I contacted this company to respectfully request the information be removed. They did respond and I had tried to remove the information via their website but it continuously denies that I am "human", thus rerouting me to an infinite cycle of denials.Business response

However, their initial response weeks ago detailing they had removed this very personal information was inaccurate. I'm having an issue deleting my personal information that's on their site. I've tried multiple times deleting it but for some reason I can't move past the "verified you're a human" screen. It's frustrating and I can't talk to anyone who could resolve it.Business response
