My husband and I found a home that we were looking to close on the end of September 2023. I have a plan through payroll deductions from my employer. We wrote looking for a lawyer and it took days to find a lawyer within network. I had to call numerous times to follow up and was given incorrect information multiple times. At one point I was told I needed to reach out to individual lawyers on their list on my own to find a good fit. I quickly found out their list of lawyers is incredibly inaccurate. Lawyers that were listed as preferred and in-network either had no idea what LegalEASE was or asked to be removed from their plans years ago. Finally I was matched with a lawyer with a short window for an attorney review. The lawyer I was matched with was rude and unresponsive. It was the day before the review was due and we had to scramble to find another out of network lawyer. I was told I could potentially receive compensation because the delays from LegalEASE is costing us a significant amount of money since out of network coverage isnt nearly as robust as the actual cost ($~$1,000 out of pocket compared to $500 reimbursement). I have never heard back and would like this review to be completed. On top of that, Ive been trying to file the form for out of network and cant get access to it. I was told it was emailed to me multiple times but I have not received it so I cant get the process started. Based on another complaint Im now nervous I wont even get covered based on form of payment. Why isnt this available to download online? Why is this all so difficult? I had MetLife Legal previously and it was seamless/easy and this has been one headache after another and I still havent received any actual help or compensation. Help!
