La Perla opened it's door in 1962 as the first Mexican food establishment in South San Francisco.  Now family run by Delfina and Juan Duenas and their two children; who have kept the tradition of the Perla keeping the same menu but with some changes and new dishes. Customers will still find the homemade tortillas and the daily specials.
