Went to Baseball Addicts to purchase a baseball bat for my son. We chose Baseball Addicts due to our thoughts that the employees were educated about bat selection and that they would help us choose the right bat for my son. Their employees are NOT trained as we found out the hard way. The employee asked if my son would be in "travel ball". We very clearly said no. However the employee said nothing when my son selected a travel ball bat. Remember we went to them for their expertise since we didn't know anything about bats and most definitely did not know that a travel ball bat can not be used in little league. We found this out after purchasing the wrong bat and bringing it home where the older brother said it would be illegal for little league. We took the bat back within 24 hours to ask for a refund or exchange. The owner was present and adamantly refused to offer us any support at all. He took no responsibility for not training his staff how to help customers who come to his shop for their expertise. This was a bat that cost $377.00 !!!! He agreed to look over the surveillance videos to see if his employee tried to sell us the wrong bat, which wasn't even the issue. We asked the owner how many "types" of bats the sell and he said two "travel ball" and "little league". My son was in his little league uniform and we very clearly said this was NOT for travel ball. The owner continued to refuse to help us in anyway. The sale was made and that is all he cared about. Please Do Not go to them expecting trained staff who will help you choose the "right bat" for your child.
