Faithful and good tenants since March of 2018. In 2021, Action ******************* documented false information that I the primary tenant moved out stating they have not seen my car parked in front of the house and notified the landlord. Then stated it was brought to their attention through one of the neighbors when I still reside there. I work extremely long hours and in the last quarter of 2021 worked out of town a lot. Also falsely reported to the landlord that My wife and I along with our 4 children are being evicted as of 4/162022 which is not true. The option to renew our lease was denied and I absolutely do not know why. We did not receive proper time to vacate the premises and was not offered another property and threatened to pursue legal action if we did not leave. Also lied to my wife and I when we were asked for the proper time and asked why we are not being offered the option to renew our lease after being great tenants by paying rent on time, not only maintaining the property but improving it with our own money. We received a notice that said 4/16 move out then 7/16 move out then another for 4/16 move out. Action Properties stated that the landlord's family members were moving into the property and that this was the landlord's decision to have us vacate. After talking to the landlord directly, we found that they were not being truthful at all and that his family was looking for a place but do not qualify for this property because of the cost of renting it was far out of their budget. The property management seems to have a vendetta against long term tenants who pay their rent on time who happen to be in an interracial relationship. Since 2020 we have been also denied a peaceful living environment not assisting us with harassing neighbors that harassed my wife an I an even my children. This is dishonest, unfair and not a way to do business. They have treated my wife and I like criminals and now I am faced with a situation that can ruin my future.

      Business response

      03/07/2022

Tenant was served a Notice to Termination of Tenancy for 4/16/2022.  The tenant's lease had expired and the owner requested we serve the notice which the tenancy is not covered by TPA and is exempt from 1482.  We served the notice 2/16/2022.  After that notice was served we send a Letter with what the next steps for move out process would be.  The 1st letter was sent 2/16 with a incorrect move out date listed on this letter.  The second letter when we noticed our mistake was sent on 2/25/2022 which listed the correct date of 4/16/2022 which matches the Notice of Termination of Tenancy.  We do not have the authorization to terminate tenancy without direction from the property owner.  I will not respond to the rest of the claims as they are false accusations.  The facts are the tenant's were served notice to vacate the property, the owner wants his property back.  The owner is not willing to extend the move out date any later than the 4/16/2022 which is allowable and within the guidelines of the law. The tenant was informed that there would not be given any extension over the telephone, and informed if he choose not to vacate, the owner's next step would be a Eviction.
