I purchased my home in Jan 2020 which used Ready Home Energy as their solar panel provider. They offered solar production monitoring services to make sure that our panels were producing energy correctly and I was told that they would contact me if they saw any issues with the system. Around May 2021 I happened to see that our electricity **** was higher than normal, we have the **** on autopay so we don't review it often as we should. I reviewed the **** and notice that there was no solar production credits from our panels, I look back at previous bills and notice it stopped producing energy in Dec 2020, 5 months ago. I contacted the monitoring service company and asked why they didn't monitor our solar production like we were told. They said they didn't have an answer and would send out a technician to see what the issue was. They sent out two techs on different days said that they couldn't fix the issue and needed to order parts. I waited a few months and it was now fall of 2021, still no call or updates. on March 19, 2022, a year and three months since my system stopped working, I sent an email to the Director of Sales, *****************, who I previously spoke to and who promised me that my repair would be a priority, I told him that if they aren't able to fix this system, I would like a refund so I could get another company to replace this one as this was holding me back from purchasing my EV and that I was paying for a system that wasn't working. After mentioning that I would pursue legal advice to resolve this matter, they agreed to make my repair a top priority. In May 2022 after multiple repair attempts, they were able to get the panels to produce electricity, it still wasn't able connect to their system to monitor the production, I waited another month before they were able to come up with a solution to get the system online. As of today, I still don't have access to monitor the solar energy, I don't have any updates on the compensation they promised.
