    We were the buyers of a new home, and Lawyers Title was the Escrow and Title company handling the closing. The listing agent hired them. October 17th, signing of documents twice and keys provided not until 10/18 Lawyers Title, *********, ** *******************-manager. Property address: , ** ***** We were so happy, but Lawyer Title managed to ruin everything for us. On the closing day the notary they hired for me to pay $250.00 announced that she had to leave shortly, and I needed to sign all the documents quickly. I needed to sign for both ******* husband as fast as I could. Unfortunately, Lawyers Title incorrectly executed the documents that I signed. Three hours later, they called me and asked me to return to their office to resign the documents because the signature line was incorrect. When I returned, they were scrambling to figure out how to correct their mistake and I waited another 2 hours. Thisdebacle proved they had no idea what they were doing. They are the most disorganized business I have ever seen and they deal with millions of dollars worth of real estate. They literally can't figure it out. It was a nightmare dealing with them, and were unprofessional andunapologetic.Due to this mess, they explained they could not provide the keys to my house because it was too late to record the sale, and that I would need to wait until the next day to get the house keys. Not getting the keys meant I would need to stay at a hotel for the night. I complained to ****** the assistant, who promised to request a reimbursement for me and asked me to send the hotel bill to her. She said, she understood my feelings. Not only did ******************* email saying "emphatically" no to my request, but never apologized for her mistakes and refused to provide any compensation to **** am a professional real estate broker, and I have been involved in hundreds of closings and have never had such a terrible experience. I believe theirCa license should be revoked.
