On 1/30/2024 we hired Borges Soares Interlocking Pavers, the contact " owner" Leandro ********************** AKA ***, to do our driveway, concrete on driveway entrance, 23 Ln FT channel drain and 7 ft drainage and 24 Ln ft of curb stone. We signed an agreement for $16,850. $1,000 deposit paid 1/30/2024 and $5,000 excavation finish, $5,850 when material is derived and $5,000 when job is completed. First problem: he asked us to paid $1,850 cement pump and additional $750 for labor. This was not included nor programed. Second problem: *** said that our current drainage was clogged and they need to open a little to check. We told him the water goes in slow but it does work. He said it was a must, he asked us to rent a snake and we did our neighbor, who is a handyman did it for us. ***'s workers broke the cement in order to "find the drainage pipe" and they could not and he wanted to continue braking the cement on the side of the house. We told him no that's is and he charged me additional $1,900 to closed the area that they removed the concrete and come out with installing a pump on the side of the area they charge me extra. Third Problem: They only installed one channel drain in front of the garage and did not install the second one in front of the main door area. He said it was not going to be necessary because the water will go down on the side. Additional issues cause by his neglect and bad work. 1) water is coming into the front door and flood all that front area. This will cause damage to our property and it's because he did not install the channel drain. 2) On the side of the house that he charged me additional $1,900 where they installed a pump, all the water comes up and downs with all mud and runs downs under the house and all the back yard making a huge mess. I texted him and sent videos of the issues. He is refusing to fix the issues and wants me to paid $1,900 if I want it to be fixed. Or do install pavers on the entire backyard and the problem will be fixed.
