      Ive been with shopkick on and off since 2017 and they basically the same. The last straw was when they suspended my acct for returning items they didnt initially give me kicks for scanning on my submitted receipt. I literally scanned the item and submitted my receipt right after I brought the items. They didnt give me kicks for it. So, I returned all the items I scanned and got shopkicks for then I repaid for them at a different ******* to see if I get kicks and they didnt give me kicks again. They have a history of not giving customer kicks they scanned for items in the store and giving 0 kicks. Then they say they suspend my account for unusual activity of returning items. Yea because sometimes the app dont give me kicks for items I purchase basically jacking me out of kicks, so they wont have to pay the customers. I told them I was done with them and to go ahead and delete my account. Im no longer dealing with them and Im putting this review on ****** and reporting to the BBB. They did enough scamming me out of products I purchased and not giving me points. Its better cashback apps than shopkick! 0 stars ***********

      It seems like the customer service tactics to deny credit for receipts is to make up their own rulesa they go. They can't seem to fix refresh errors on the app, so every time I shop I clear the cache manually. An offer was on my account while shopping and clearly showing as available, so I buy the product. When I go to submit, the offer is gone. I have tried repeatedly to get credit for my purchase and customer service made up random days to claim the promotion was over a week prior. How does that even happen, and why would it be on my account one week later if it wasn't available?Similarly in the past they try to say they can't give credit if an item isn't the exact one on the picture. The description says any variety except travel, and I've purchased a different scent. Sometimes there is no option to scan and check. The app denies credit for valid products and customer service gives a generic message about how it is not the exact one you scanned they can't give credit. This app is slowly becoming a bait and switch to get consumers to buy products and then deny credit in hopes they forget to return the products.

      I think this app is scamming its users in the most unethical way and pretty soon, I'm sure, they're going to get sued. I am being accused of not following the rules of the so-called "free app" but without a shred of evidence of my wrongdoing or even an acceptable explanation as to what my activities "outside (our) terms of service" are, SPECIFICALLY! On top of this, Shopkick conveniently waits until the user has racked up thousands of kicks in rewards before alerting them that they have (somehow) violated (or whatever) the terms of use. And this is where the unethical tactic should be heard in a court of law. If they were truly concerned about how accounts were faithfully adheringto you their terms of service, they should warn a customer he/she wasn't doing this. But NO. Shopkick conveniently waits until the user tries to cashout before letting them know, still, obscurely: "this action cannot be completed at this time. Please try again later" that they are restricted. This is clear evidence that its users are unsuspectingly serving the purpose of the app, which is to promote brands and their products, to get people to purchase these products, and thereby for Shopkick to get paid by their sponsors without their users realizing they're being used as pawns in a scheme that's only benefitting the creator of the app, and not the user at all. This is the unethical practice that a lawyer should recognize instantly. If I hadn't reached out to them, they would still be telling me to "PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER." Meanwhile, I am wasting my time and MY MONEY buying products to SERVE the purpose of the app and not to seek out to get rewarded myself for my effort. This is the epitome of sneaky, illegal, and unethical practices on their part. (PS: If I could leave a zero star review I would, but I cannot)

      I have been denied my kicks when I bought the exact item required to get my points toward a gift card. I was told the bar code was not the right one and not on the receipt, even though I circled it. I bought the same product at another store and was going to upload the receipt as soon as I left the store and it mysteriously was not on the list anymore to earn points. Ironically, the item was the 59 oz Gold Peak Tea. I have a picture of the item from their website with a brief description of what I needed to purchase, but yet customer service will not honor giving me the 550 points. I am deleting my Shopkick account. Not sure what kind of business they are running, but I am not happy with their service.

      Had an issue with a receipt. I sent an email explaining that an error was made on their end. Within a few hours, **** from customer service contacted me and made things right.

      Horrible service. Scam operation that I wish I had stayed away from. I had earned ****** in points snd I have not been able to redeem any of them pluses can not get in contact with anyone for customer service.

      I have used shopkicks with family and friends for a few years. Recently my son's account and mine have been closed. Only reason we were given was that we broke a rule. After multiple attempts we weren't told what rule. We can't even cash out on what we have earned to this point. They didn't tell us it was closed until we asked why we couldn't cash out. It all seems shady to be so secretive. Now my son and I are out a $100 each.

      I couldn't redeem my kicks. So I tried logging in on another device that already had the app which is against the rules. But even before that Shopkick would not let me redeem my kicks. Can customer service please help me.

      I would have gave them a 5 star before but I had saved up enough kicks for over $1200 for Christmas shopping and now they have my account suspended saying there is suspicious activity. There is nothing suspicious. I cant redeem my points and they are responding to my emails. I feel as if they are scamming me.
