    I opened my account a month ago and everything was fine. However, since yesterday my account has been locked. They refuse to give me any details until I send them all of my bank statements and ID cards. They wont state why they need these. Needless to say, closing this account.

    I have been a client for about 10 years and I love their service, software and have never had a problem. I occasionally email them questions and get a reply quickly. Ther is a phone number to call but I have never called ?the number that ends with 8437?. I like the app and I find moving money into and out of the account to be easy. it's not instant to move money out since they have to sell assets but it's only a day or two.

    When I try to transfer money, either IN or OUT of the account, there is inconsistent communication that is terribly confusing, inaccurate, and wrong. Then when I call to check on the status they eventually get back to me with the same incorrect and wrong information. Remember it is a ROBO investor, which means there is no one to care, have character, discretion, or active knowledge of your account, so ****** below is correct. If you want to pop your money into a met grinder and see if it makes sausage, go right ahead.Just remember that wealthfront is an experiment. With your money. I once did a transfer and 6K of money disappeared from account for several days and their is no way to track it on the app, NO timeline of your balance over time, and once a transaction has been approved or denied, no way to track your prior balance or current balance without sorting through myriad statements and even then it might not be accurate. No one to call. No one to care.

    Last Thursday, Wealthfront suddenly deactivated my account. I have called four times, with the response of someone will get back to you in four hours, someone will get back to you in two days. No one has gotten back to me. I was able to reach the *************************** and was told my account is under investigation and my whole account is blocked. Almost $XXXX is being held for no reason at all. I am new at stocks and if I choose to sell them, let me. If I want access to my account, then allow me access. Im very upset because I did nothing wrong and yet to be told my account is being investigated doesnt sit right with me. Never before has any financial institution done this to me. Its the first week in December and I need access to my money for my own personal reasons. WF returned an AmEx payment, will return a Discover card payment, stopped a direct transfer to my bank account, and I see no transaction record on a $XXXX sale of stocks that was supposed to be deposited into my account today. In total, $XXXX disappeared from my account. Im a single mother struggling to survive in this brutal world. I need my money!!! WF has no legitimate reason to investigate my account. Every day this continues, is costing me money. This unnecessary stress adding to my emotional well being.

    NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ******************** does not have my correct phone number so I am unable to log in to my account. They keep trying to text me a code so I can enter the code and access my account but they are sending each and every code to the WRONG NUMBER. I know they have the wrong number because on the complaint form it has all my info correct BUT THE ***** NUMBER. I have emailed them numerous times to no avail. Now what?

    Their customer service, like the other reviews mentioned, is non-existent. They often force you to use email instead of speaking with a live person, and even if you reach a live person they're usually rude and not helpful. Often the result is your money is tied up waiting for them to respond to something that should be quick and easy.

    Wealthfront closed my account months ago and just decided to hold onto my money until I found out what they owed me and brought it to their attention. They told me on SEP 12 they will mail me a refund check no later than by SEP 26 after verifying my information with ********. It is now OCT 3 and of course that was a filthy lie. I called ******************* office and they said Wealthfront was informed on Sept 15 over two weeks ago that the issue is a Wealthfront issue not a GreenDot issue. Now Wealthfront is saying I need to open a new case and do the same thing thing I already did 3 weeks ago. THEY ARE LYING THIEVES! Just look at their F score it speaks for itself!

    Horrendous company! Not only do they not answer phones but if you DO get someone they are extremely rude and unprofessional! Asking for a manager got me hung up on TWICE with a derisive WE ARE BUSY! After which I received an email requesting I move my money as their office personnel were offended?!? ******* moved accounts as there is NO WAY I would allow anyone to speak to me the way they did!
