  When I 1st rented this locker, I was offered 50% 1st 2 months. It was a great deal. 10x10 locker for $120 a month. Then, in JULY of 2024, they raised the rates to $204 a month. Now, a year later, AGAIN IN JULY, they raised the rent to $243. I will be removing my stuff and relocating someplace that does not rip off their customers knowing that they risk heat stroke to move.

  I didn't have any problems with this place until maybe 6 months in. They randomly change the price of your unit and when you call in to ask why the unit went from $170 to $230, they're explanation was because the cost of living went up. They offered us a bigger and a smaller unit for even $40 less than what we were originally paying (I don't know how that makes any sense). They don't care about the inconvenience of moving all my stuff (including furniture) out of the current storage unit to be put into another unit. When they gave me an option to move units, but they request $10 upfront and have to give notice at the beginning of the month to move out of your current unit. Fortunately, its nearby everything that's probably the only reason I'd give it 1 star. I would not recommend this place they are going to just take your money! This is frustrating because if I was made aware that my January bill was going to be almost $60 more, I would have moved storage units. As I'm writing this, I looked at previous reviews and there are a lot more people having this same issue with them raising prices without telling the customer.

  This company (Secure Spade Self Storage) purchased the original storage company (******************* Storage last year. When I rented a storage unit from the former company 5 years ago, they employed very attentive employees who provided excellent customer service. The facility was also was protected by security cameras and each unit had a door alarm. The current company discontinued the door alarms on the units without notifying the tenants. The current employees also have not been trained to use the security camera system. On 8/31 and 9/1 2023 several storage units were broken into and most had items stolen. My storage unit was among the ones broken into. It took the company five days to inform me of this situation and the door to my unit remained unsecured during that time. I had a loss of several thousand dollars worth of items from my unit. The manager who was onsite informed me that they also were not trained on how to use the security camera system and would not be able to help with potential video evidence of the crime. She was also unable to explain why the door alarm system had been removed from the units. The boss above the manager was non responsive to calls from her employees regarding this serious security situation. I was left with no answers and very little concern for my situation. This facility should be avoided if you value the security of your belongings and good customer service.

  A lot to say about this place but ill try and make it short,The location is rather annoying to get to having to go through a apartment complex parking lot with multiple speed bumps and cars parked rather un uniform as usual at an apartment complex Not great for trailers coming and going to storageThe facility has major issues with setting proper lighting time for the lockers resulting in issues like falling, tripping and having to worry about seeing in the dark depending on if the lockers lights were updated since opening however I have still seen a few people complaining after I myself had a issue where I fell carrying large things in the dark.They use this company called ****************** for there access control and the main door at the top has been down multiple times making you go to another door on another floor, not to mention whoever installed it clearly didnt know what they were doing since any time the system reboots or has a glitch the doors open immediately Not fail secure setup Its also incredibly easy to get in with no code and thats kinda frightening if you store things there like I do.The car wash always has issues it seems, they claim its working now but the last time I went the water worked and no soap or pressure in the options menus. The ** is kinda short about literally anything as well as impatient and snippy not just to us anytime we have been in there and there is another customer as well, we personally prefer dealing with ************* has always resolved any issues respectfully and timely and is always a very easy person to work with. Honestly should give him the ** position.I dont really know how much longer we will use this place, they really need to fix up some of the issues.
