I boarded my horse there and was extremely disappointed by the experience. My horse was fed late, went without water for God knows how long without my notification, and was not notified about changes in my horse's behavior and health. The ranch hands are unreliable and vanished left and right. The owner is never physically at the property. Young people and children are in charge of animal and children safety. The A/C units don't work, automatic fly sprayers stopped working except for in the cross ties where the lesson instructors work, and unless your horse is a part of the lesson program is treated differently. People are extremely difficult to work with, and the owner is extremely disrespectful and difficult. I watched other boarders leave and have heard others complain to no end. The owner is not knowledgeable nor is she accommodating. Stalls can be dirty, insecure, even unsafe to the animal inside it. The "petting zoo" on the property is severely neglected, possibly to the point of animal abuse. I do not know how this place stays in business. Perhaps the attached dog kennel helps sustain it-- I hope the dogs aren't treated like the horses. If so, I would highly encourage pet owners to rethink their decision to come here. I won't even begin on the thought of putting my grandchild on one of her horses with one of her instructors. No wonder El Camino is not BBB Accredited. If there was a negative star, I would have given it five.
