    Took my **** - **** F100 Custom TRUCK to RCAR Redlands Complete Auto Repair shop located at **** W. Redlands Blvd, Ste. L, Redlands CA, phone ************, and handed the truck over to *****************, Shop Manager, and discussed in detail the project work to be completed to fully restore my **** F-100. **** repeatedly reassured me that he had a lot of experience restoring classic cars and could handle this job "no-problem". An extensive INVOICE ARD #******** was created & monies exchanged for deposit. After many months/ years of attempting to communicate with ****, I realized that NOTHING that **** had been telling me was the truth, and he has been feeding me lies & excuses about the state of the project, & at times, would not return my emails or phone calls. I spent $7012.00 as partial payment, and the truck sat, untouched for 2 years, while **** continued to paint colorful stories of the state of the truck and status of the project. I repeatedly asked (via emails that remain unanswered) for updates and pictures that would show progress. I picked the truck up today, exactly x2 years later, and see that the truck is in the SAME unrepaired state as it was when I dropped it off in 2021, and now, **** tells me that they (former owner) agree to refund ALL monies paid, however the shop has changed ownership and I will have to reach out to the old owner: ********************* to ask for a full refund! **** gave me the email address: ****************************************************** #:************ of the previous owner, and says I need to correspond to *********************, & request a refund. Additionally, **** showed me a storage garage with multiple vehicles/ unfinished projects, that the shop has taken on that are in the same sad situation: Promises, with no intention to do the work. And, when requested to speak to the owner, **** refused to give me the name / contact information of the current RCAR owner. I just want a FULL refund, and to put the shop on notice so others don't get scammed!

    RCAR was referred to me by another Auto Shop in December, 2018 for an Electrical Problem. While diagnosing Electrical problem,The owner, Juan N*** found a bigger problem with the engine & motor mounts. That repair took 7 months to be repaired. November 22, 2019, I paid RCAR to fix the Electrical problem. Juan replace the Turn Signal Switch, Flasher and Radiator fan. A week later I was back at RCAR because the Engine light kept coming on and the Electrical Problem still had not been repaired. November 27, 2019 Juan replaced Voltage Regulator and Brake Light Switch. Exactly one month, December 27, 2019, one of RCAR's mechanics was driving my car and the car engine stopped just after coming off the freeway. I was charged $1050.00 for that repair and was promised an invoice which I have not received to this day. I do not know exactly what caused the breakdown. I have been asking for that invoice for 2 years and was always told "it's in the mail." During year 2020. I was back at RCAR for several more repairs. During the summer, my antenna was taken off & silver tire stem caps were missing. I have asked for these items several times and have not received them back. Sept. 30, 2020 I was back at RCAR. This time Juan said he needed to replace the Main Computer. I was told that if I paid cash I would get a discounted price. I have never received an invoice for the computer. Every time I ask for the invoice I get the same answer as before. During 2021, my car was constantly needing repairs. Most of the time RCAR had my car, they were driving it, trying to get the computer to adjust itself. By my calculations RCAR has put over 5,000 miles on my car. As of today, my electrical problem is WORSE than before. I donot have a left blinker at all. I donot know what else is wrong. Nov 22, 2021 Juan towed my car to my house;advised me not to drive it. He was to order a Relay Box. After Dec 13, 2021 he was to bring car back to shop &finish repairs. Juan had stopped communicating with me.
