  A couple of weeks ago at 6:00 pm, I ordered a translation of a letter from English to German. Unfortunately, I did not see these reviews of the company until after ordering the document. The next day at around 10:00 am, I tried to cancel the contract and was told that it was too late because the document was already sent to the translator. I asked for a manager and was assured that someone would get back with me. Guess what...I never received a call back and the finished product was sent to me the following day after I tried cancelling the order. What happened next is, I took that document and had it translated using ****** Translate and sent both copies to someone in ******* that I was meeting with the following week. He looked at both documents and determined the ****** Translate did a better job of the translation. I give this company a negative one-star for a manager not calling me back and for the translation. Thank you.

  The Spanish Group issued me two contradicting evaluations. The initial evaluation I paid for in year 2022 and they gave the report with my academic qualification as equivalent to 2 year Associates Degree in ***. I need to acquire their services again to get enrolled at a local university and paid again to have my each units evaluated for credit points. Of course they said they can evaluate hence they charged me a fee. And when I received the report, to my shock, they now said the same qualification from my foreign country is equivalent to a Bachelors Degree, but they cannot evaluate each unit. Now when I trying to get hold of them to get refunded, they are not responding to my email or answering my calls.

  I contacted this company about translating a contract. They told me to submit the contract and they would give me an estimate. I did that. I was given an estimate of $125 which I paid. I waited to receive the document but it never arrived. Later I received another bill approaching $300. I refuse to pay the additional sum and demanded a refund for the money I spent. They told me they would resolve it and then call me back. I never heard from them again. Ultimately I stopped payment with my credit card company. They sent the credit card company documents I'd never received and got my credit card company to back them and add the charges back on my card. I want a refund. They treat me very deceptively. It was a classic baked and switch.

  I ordered a translation of a death certificate to be delivered digital and paid an extra fee for a certified copy to be mailed to my home. I received the digital copy and never received the certified copy by mail. I contacted them several times and finally their answer was to pay again for the certified copy. I believe $130+ was more than enough. I simply want my certified copy!

  This company advertises "100% Guaranteed Acceptance," but when it provided a translation of a death certificate to be filed with a local county clerk, the translation was rejected. This type of translation must be prepared an certified by an ATA certified translator or a ********** Court Certified Interpreter. The translator used by The Spanish Group LLC did not hold either of those credentials. Their client came to me, because I have the proper certification. I called the company and asked if they would have a properly certified translator redo the the translation or if they would refund the client. The Spanish Group LLC told me that they would neither redo the translation nor refund the client. I then asked them if they would take steps to ensure that translations of death certificates to be filed with a county clerk or hall of records always be certified by an ATA certified translator or a ********** Court Certified Interpreter in the future. They even told me that they assumed no responsibility for taking such a measure in the future. I had to redo their client's translation and properly certify it through my own company. The client was never reimbursed for the useless translation provided by The Spanish Group LLC.

  They over charged me stating that the full balance wasn't paid. I knew it was but I desperately needed the document as part of paperwork needed for me to get to my dying 103 year old mother so I paid the second balance anyway. Later I sent them email receipts of all of the money paid. The second amount paid then turned into an "urgency" fee instead of remaining balance from the original price. The original fee was for same day translation anyway...SHAME ON YOU!!!
