l had my 1999 ml320 mercedes towed to Aamco 1406 w Holt Ave. pomona,ca on wed, Oct X XXXX. I was toll that it would cost 2500 to fix my SUV I had got a loan for 1700 from EasyPay Finance , and I paid 800 out of pocket , I was toll to pay 200 so he can see what"s wrong with my SUV and the 200 would also go towards the fixing of the SUV so i paid the 200 and on 11/ 1/2021 I paid 300 and on 11/19/2021 I paid 300 Which adds up to 800 + 1700 from EasyPay=2500 he would not touch my SUV untill it was paid in full.So from there on I was toll my SUV would be ready on 11/18/2021 it was not ,then i was toll before Thanksgiving, i was toll my SUV would be ready on 11/24/2021 .,it was not so from there i was toll my SUV would be ready on 12/9/2021 it was not now i was toll it would be 12/16/2021 . To day is 12/15/2021 i drove by Aamco this morning and my SUV sill has not been moved its been under a tree since 11/3/2021.Initial Complaint

2020 many times I called to say something is wrong with van, they said it is normal. Before June 15th 2021, I called several times to say something wrong with the van. Around/about- June 15th I went again to explain, Manager said something not good with transmission but warranty over and cannot help me. I paid ******** dollars for a new to me used transmission from a legitimate company. I was promised a used but functional transmission with a warranty. They said warranty over with. Nature of my complaint is the staff knew our/my story this van is my 94 year old moms, this van was to transport her to colorado long term, short term local doctor appointments/errands, I cannot transport my mom in this van the transmission needs replacement. She/we have no vehicle to get her& same household disabled family to Doctor. Business said will fix it for more money ******** or more dollars. But offer was only available then.They said I never came in, or left van not completely true.Initial Complaint

06/16/2021- Took my 2008 Honda Accord to Aamco for a Free Diagnostics Test to find out why my car would jerk whenever i would shift into Drive. My car was there 1week and then they called saying the labor to do the diagnostic test was $350, i agreed. 2wks later they called and said it was going to be $**** & i agreed. 07/14/2021- Picked up my car and had to take it back the next day cuz it started leaking transmission fluid less than 2hrs of having it home. They claimed they were sent the wrong part and claimed to have resolved the issue, and it took 1week and a half for them to fix. Again, after picking it up it started leaking less than 2hours from leaving the shop. took it back the next day told the person in charge, *****, that i was considering calling corporate if the same thing were to happen again, and he told me that my car would be there longer if i did that. he claimed to have ordered new transmission, and picked it up on 08/06/2021, and it started leaking again 5days later.Initial Complaint

02/2020 had my transmission rebuilt, I received in writing 24months / 24,000 miles warranty, Approx 9 mths later transmission fluid was dripping, so I took it in and it was repaired at no cost due to warranty. 05/25/21 the transmission went out completely, no reverse and barely moved forward it was worse than the initial time I took it in. Aamco refused to honor my warranty. An Operations Manager, Corp and Consumer Relations were all involved and 3wks later Aamco began work on my car. 6 wks after dropping it off & at the time of picking up the car, I had a hard time moving the shifter out of park and shift handle fell really low. I was told by ***** and ****** that it had nothing to do with the transmission. I was very disappointed with the way they left the shifter because it was not like that when I dropped off the car. 07/15/21 the transmission completely stopped working again, I spoke to ****** (the owner) the morning after who said I was out of warranty & he will not fix it.
