    In Fall of 2021, ***** ***********, the owner of Brownstone Masonry untruthfully contracted work from my parents by advertising himself as a licensed contractor. Eventually, ***** and Brownstone Masonry took 100% of the payment (over $60K) and did not complete all of the work that was in the scope of the contract. In addition to incomplete work, the work was not up to code as stairs are not proper width, flooring is unlevel throughout the house, and there are many injury risks. In 2022, after multiple attempts to reach out to Brownstone Masonry to settle the issues and receiving no response, a formal complaint with the **** (California Contractors State License Board) was filed. The finding of this report resulted in the **** revoking ***** and Brownstone Masonry's contracting license and finding that over ***** of repair work was needed to fulfil our initial contract. To this ***, ***** has not acted in good faith and made an attempt to remedy the situation. We can only come to the conclusion that Brownstone Masonry is a fraud.
