Previous to October 17, (The day of my installation of my windows) I was given a letter stating that I should remove and/ or confine animals from the work area. My animals were cockatiels, I had five and they were very healthy and I gave them 6 feet distance from the work zone. I even talked with the manager and said if they were in the way, they can move them further away. They were OK with that. Unfortunately, on October 17, 2024, when my windows were replaced they used a very toxic chemical. Luckily, I came home around 4:30 to my house smelling of fumes. I quickly opened up all my windows to air it out. I looked at my birds and they were panting like they could not breathe eventually, four of them were OK but the other one took a while to get better. I was hoping he was fine, but he stopped eating and by Monday morning he was dead. I wish I wouldve known that they use strong chemicals, but I did not know and now I am out of one of my family members

We are truly sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident with your cockatiels and the difficulties you experienced during the window installation on October 17, 2024. We understand how distressing it must be to lose one of your beloved pets, and we deeply regret that this occurred following our service.

We appreciate your diligence in following our instructions to keep your animals at a safe distance and for discussing this with our manager beforehand. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of our customers and their homes, we deeply regret the impact this situation has had on your family.

Please know that we are taking this matter seriously. We are reviewing our processes to prevent this from happening again in the future, ensuring that customers with pets are fully informed about any materials used during an installation.

We would like to offer a way to make amends and will be contacting you directly so we can discuss how best to support you through this difficult time.

Again, we are deeply sorry for your loss, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this matter.
