On Sunday May 18 At Approximately 6PM I Went To Top Line Nails In ***************** Located On ************************, For A Set Of Nails. I Used A Picture To Illustrate The Design I Wanted. The Person Doing My Nails Was One Trained In Art. When All Was Completed It Was An Hour After Closing And My Nails Did Not Look Anything Like The Illustration. I Expressed My Displeasure And The Person Responded With Offering Me A Voucher For My Next Visit. Afterwards A Representative From Top Line Nails Contacted Me Via Phone And Asked What Had Happened. I Explained Of My Displeasure Because My Nails Did Not Look Anything Like Photo I Had Presented. The Representative Asked What I'd Like Done To Make This Right. I Asked For A Refund. She Instead Offered A $60.00 Voucher.

Date of transaction, June 1, 2024 This business lies about their fees to customers. They will have employees write an amount on a receipt paper, which does not match the receipt given after payment. Example: Pedicure fee $60 on handwritten receipt and acrylic nail $80 handwritten receipt. On the printed receipt acrylic nail $74 And manicure $52. Charging the customer a $10 gift card without the customer requesting. And additional add-on four dollars without a reason. When asked I was told it was from a previous customer and only removed $1 out of $5. They are stealing from customers without our consent.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/16/2024

    Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing in response to the false claims alleging that Topline Nails is stealing from our clients. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that Topline does not and will never steal hard-earned money from our clients. The complaint in question includes a receipt totaling $141. Allow me to clarify our billing process to provide context for this receipt.
****** provided a powder set service priced at $80, and *** performed a gel polish Topline pedicure priced at $60, with an additional $1 service fee, resulting in a total charge of $141exactly what the customer paid, neither more nor less. At **********************, we have a gift card program where clients receive a $10 gift card when they spend $100 or more. To activate this card, we adjust both services accordingly. In this case, the client's receipt reflects a charge of $74 for ******'s service and $52 for ***'s service, totaling $126, with the $10 gift card bringing the total to $136. The remaining $4 charge adjustment ensures the client's total matches their original charge of $141.
Our ticket entry system may appear confusing, but it can be influenced by factors such as owed money to the owner by the technician, hence the $4 adjustment shown on the receipt. We apologize for any confusion caused by our ticket entry process, but I assure you that the customer was not overcharged, and no money was unlawfully taken from her or anyone else.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Have a pleasant day.
    Sincerely,
    Topline Nails

On 8/13/2023 I went for a full set of nails and the owner ******** convince me to try the ******* face treatment. I was convinced. I paid for my full set of nails $90.00 & cuticle oil and a made a deposit of $150.00 to set an appointment for the treatment. On 8/23/2024 went in for the 1st session & was convince to get the package which included 5 sessions total. So I agreed and I was also convince to get microblading & was charge $500, so everything was paid upfront. I only had 2 sessions done. My face got very sensitive. I pause for a bit before putting needles again. I reached out to get my 3rd session, never got a reply, time went by and I just reached out to request a refund for the 3 sessions I did not want to continue with. Topline Nails has not attempted to reach out, all they reply was No money refund love. I also had the microblading and the outcome was not nice, they aren't done correctly and I was charged $500 for a job that was unsatisfactory and also, they were advertising the microblading special for $300 and I got charge $500 I gave it the benefit of the doubt that they would do an amazing job. I was wrong. I can provide pictures as well. Please advise if so needed.
