    Hello:

    They sent us two dead leeches very late and now (despite their policy) they are not issuing a refund to us. The mislead us.

    I was charged more than the price they agreed to charged and they are refusing to refund the overcharge.
    I was told my order would be $500 discounted down from. $685 but they cancelled the correctly priced order and are keeping my money from the incorrectly charged order and refusing to refund to their offered price. They are claiming that prices have gone up and they will no longer honor the price that my order was suppose to cost even though my discount still worked and they made this offer within a week of placing my order and it is why I placed my order.
    I would like to be refunded the amount I was overcharged.
    They simply told me to go find another supplier for my future orders and are refusing to honor their price offer theybused to bait me in to order with them.

    I placed an order on 9/30/22 with hirudo.com aka leech.com as they are the same company. Order number ****, I ordered 1 pregnant leech $16, 1 Dracula leech $20, 1 large leech $13.50, acrylic leech bed $10, and portion of moss $10. With no prior notification nor any warnings on their website, they substituted 5 non mature medium leeches($8) and sent the portion of moss as well. There was also NO communication that my order was being substituted as well as they substituted the 2 extra leeches for a piece of acrylic plastic. I have explained in detail I would take a refund of purchase price of the 3 leeches I paid for minus the $8 for the 3 medium leeches as well as a full refund for the acrylic leech bed and happy to send their extra leeches back as I ordered the pregnant leech to view the life cycle of a leech and am unprepared to euthanize a living creature much less 2 and can not care for more than the 3 I ordered. There has been no resolution and they continue to maintain 2 living creatures that I am forced to care for is a proper substitution for an acrylic plastic piece. I thank you for your time and hope for a speedy resolution as the company won’t respond other than they substituted properly and have not resolved any of this.
