    Many years ago this business used to be under different personnel. Nowadays, their receipts as to the promised delivery of items are useless. On Friday June 30 2023 I dropped off a silk shirt for cleaning. They printed a receipt/reminder that clearly states the cleaned item would be available on Wednesday July 5 2023 after 4:00 pm. Upon showing up after that time, the clerk said the item was not ready and that it would be ready on Friday (two days later). When I protested stating they had promised delivery as per the receipt, which I produced to show to them, the clerk said the receipt did not matter. She mumbled that because of the day I dropped the item, I "missed" their pick-up. When I asked why they print a promissory date for delivery, the clerk adamantly said the receipt did not mean anything. When I requested a discount in compensation for the delay, she refused saying they "do not offer discounts." I protested that they are making me waste my time by making me go to their store multiple times. I note that this business has reduced hours of operation. There are a multitude of similar cleaners in the area, such as one directly across S. Lake Ave. One is a lot better off using these other businesses.
