    Mercari sucks and should be shut down. I ordered a Lego Coliseum set twice from different sellers and both times it was sent to the wrong address. I swore them off (and told them off), but fell for it a third time. This time is was the Lego Titanic set. Once again, I got notifications that is was delivered at around 11 am but it was not. I have my packages sent to the funeral home I own so I know it did not arrive. Our doors were unlocked from 8-5 and we were here all day. Shutting down Mercari is minor from what I think should really happen to them. DO NOT TRUST MERCARI!!!!

    I tried to return an item that did not match the description. I followed the prompt to accept the package so I could return the package and then was told I could not return the item. Mercari stole my money and refused to hold the seller accountable.

    I sold and item for over $80 and made sure to package well. Buyer got item and opened a return, the reason was not given. Mercari sided with buyer and refunded money without requiring buyer to return item. This is legalized theft in my opinion. I have since delisted all my listings and will never do business with them again. At the least have the buyer return the item. This is the second time this has happened.

    I was told to accept a package so I could return it and then denied the ability to return the package because I accepted it. The item was not as described.

    SHOP WITH CAUTION! Mercari DOES NOT care about their... Mercari DOES NOT care about their members - Buyers or Sellers. While most transactions may run smoothly use caution when buying or selling anything fragile through Mercari. My purchase of a 32 piece lot would have been covered by the UPS insurance policy except Mercari REFUSED to file a claim. Eight of the 32 items in this order were broken in transit. UPS agreed a claim should be filed except since Mercari was listed as the seller, neither myself or the true seller could file a claim, Mercarihad to file. I tried multiple times to explain this via email to Mercari(unable to speak with anyone on the phone). They refused, stating I could have returned it entire order for a full refund but instead opted to keep the 24 unbroken items. This is the policy-NO EXCEPTIONS! As the items were broken by UPS, I did not feel it was fair to penalize the true seller by requesting a refund or leaving a bad review. I also collect these items and wanted the 24 that survived.
