    I purchased a new Mazda 3 from Oxnard Mazda on 11/29/2023, and let a transportation company ship it to me. However, the driver of the transportation company found several scratches on the car's body BEFORE loading the car, and I wanted the dealer to fix it. At first, the sales rep refused to acknowledge there were scratches before the car was shipped. After I provided the proof (i.e. inspection report from the driver of the transportation company), they became very negative about it and did NOT reply to texts, emails, and even phone calls. I tried to reach the general manager but those guys refused to provide the manager's contact info. The most absurd thing was that I called the front desk and the guy deliberately provided me with a FAKE available time to talk to the manager (6 p.m. on 12/06/2023). When I called them at that time, the general manager had already left. It has been one week and no progress has been made at all. There are 3 guys from the dealer working with me: George, Connor, and Edwin. George is the sales rep I mainly work with. Connor and Edwin were the assistant of George but did not reply to texts/emails, George once said he contacted the general manager and would get back to me, but he has disappeared ever since. Also, the guy at the front desk that tricked me is Connor I suspect, from the voice I heard. The attached files include the inspection report made by the driver of the transportation company, and the screenshots of emails, and texts that I contacted with them and received no replies.

    Since the new owners took over Oxnard Mazda in 2023, the customer service experience has tanked. The old owner, J*** ******, cared about this customers. This new owner REFUSED to honor the Tire & Wheel Protection contract I had purchased when I purchased my CX30 in May of 2020. After I tried to talk to them, they agreed to replace my tire, HOWEVER, they informed me that I could not have my vehicle back until they received payment from the Tire & Wheel Protection insurance company for at least 3-5 days if not longer. Does this sound like new proprietors of a business that want to keep loyal customers? I have had the car for almost 4 years and have never had it serviced anywhere else. I will advise any I know to never ever buy a vehicle from Oxnard Mazda.

    We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been incurred. Unfortunately, we are not contracted with ALLY to accept payments as they pay by direct payments thru statement, not check or credit card and we are not set up with them to complete that process. We are currently working on a resolution with ALLY for our customers that have those products from the previous ownership so that we can process their claims.
