    On September 14, 2023, I bought a standard king *** room at Casa Blanca Hotel. The listing was discounted, displaying a price of $74.25. When I arrived at the hotel, the employee checked my drivers license and debit card to ensure it was me. After this, he told me that he would be charging me a $400 security deposit on the room. NOTE: nowhere on the online listing did it mention anything about a security deposit, let alone a price! I refused, as this seemed suspicious. He then told me $100 then which was extremely odd, as at this point it was clear to me that the man was arbitrarily changing the price of the deposit and thus was illegitimately charging me. I again refused. He proceeded AGAINST MY WISHES to attempt to charge my card; however, it declined. He then told me to contact my bank for a refund, because he would not be issuing me one. The man was also extremely rude and belligerent during the encounter. I want my refund in full for $74.25, as well as their BBB accreditation to be removed.
