    My son ******** ***** had Alignment Health Ava(PPO) health insurance coverage last year 2024, Member ID: ***********, DOB ********** with a basic annual dental allowance of $1000.00.He bought the optional supplemental benefit thru Alignment Health with a monthly payment of $48.00 per month with an additional annual dental allowance of $1000.00. ************** is contracted to provide payment of dental services. Unfortunately ************** paid only based on the basic dental allowance only without recognizing the optional supplemental benefit. It is the responsibility of Alignment Health to forward to ************** the fact that ******** had the optional supplemental dental benefit. I want Alignment Health to refund all 12 payments plus 15% interest equals $662.40. My name is ******* *****, Member ID: ***********, DOB: **********

    Alignment Health Plan's Deceptive Bait-And-Switch Practices During the Enrollment Phase for ******** Advantage Insurances, I called Alignment Health to obtain information on their insurance plans for my zip code. I talked to a person (by phone) who answered my call to Alignment Health. He did NOT tell me that he was a "3rd party agent/broker" for Alignment Health, he pretended he was an employee for Alignment. He gave me false plan information, outright lieying to me about benefits for my zip code. After I signed up with Alignment, I found out that most of the information he gave me was false/deceptive, leaving me with a much worse coverage than my previous insurance (with substantially lower coverage for dental and transportation needs). The Enrollment Phase expired weeks ago. Alignment told me now that they had "3rd party agents" who had lied to potential customers, but did nothing about it. Unknown how many people have been defrauded by this scheme. This is a massive fraud. Report what they did to you to the **** FTC, BBB, Attorney General, and ************************ They do openly bait-and-sweitch, and then leave us stranded, even after confirming we were given false information by their so-caolled agents. And for those who are not with Alignment (yet): STAY AWAY AT ANY COST. 70 % of what they tell you is UNTRUE.

    Alignment offered nothing to resolve any of my complaint subjects. They only stated:

    Nothing but empty words. They reviewed nothing, offered nothing, and evidently don't have the intention to do anything. My complaint to the *** is already submitted. More to come. No wonder Alignment's rating with the BBB is F. They are liars, deceivers, and cons. I had no idea what kind of fraudsters they are until I signed up. I will do everything to spread the word. If a class action forms, I will be the first one to join. 

    They MUST respond to my complaint now, not bubble garbage.

    Alignment did nothing to reverse the damage caused by their "third party agent", who was actually hired by Alignment to deceive (prospect) customers during the Open Enrollment time in 2024. Alignment intentionally hired them as non-employees, so they can't be traced after deceiving people. Alignment is a criminal company, practicing with deception, openly. They admitted thousands of people have been deceived by these false agents, yet Alignment does/did nothing to remedy the horrors they inflicted on us. Their license should be revoked. Everybody should read these notes here, to be informed. To NOT sign up with ALIGNMENT. They are liars !

    I signed alignment ******** advantage plan for year 2024 sold to by *********************** lic.0oc80420 at *******phone number **********. At the time of enrollment he told me my copay for any tooth extraction would be from $25 to 140. Now they are not paying for my extraction. I had to pay from my pocket. My ID is ***********.

    I have attempted to purchase OTC goods through the Alignment Healthcare Nation Benefits and every selection that I make comes back as "no products available". When I attempted to download their catalog, I checked the box for English and checked the box for OTC. The catalog came up in Spanish on all four attempts. I then attempted to phone Nations Bentfits and was on hold for 17 and a half minutes after which I gave up. I don't understand how Alignment Healthcare can offer as part of it's plan, the purchase of OTC goods using their provided Mastercard when no products are available and a catalog in English is also not available. It is impossible to try and resolve issues with them over the phone because they don't answer calls.

    I signed up for this ******** advantage plan in November 2022, they promised me a black access card that would enable me to receive $150 monthly food benefits, in addition to $150 quarterly Chiropractic benefits. It is now January 31st 2023, still have not received my black access card, nor any of my promised benefits. Everytime I call, I speak to Filipinos unwilling/unable to help at all, making only promises that the card is on it's way, or apologies for my inconvenience. I have canceled this plan because I need immediate help for swollen lymph nodes in my neck! This plan through Alignment HealthCare has caused me a great deal of distress and damages! Please stop these immoral people from taking advantage of the needy & the poor!

    In October 2022 I was going to have dental work done. An Alignment rep said the plan was changing 2023 and my total out of pocket would be $300 for the work. I postponed the appointment until early January when they said that isn't the case. You get $2000 a year for hearing, dental, vision and chiropractic. I called the *********************** aka ********* who didn't have an answer for a week or so. She said she'd written to someone but no response. I asked if there was a number to call and she said no. The ***** **** wrote and said someone would be in touch the next week. In the meantime, my teeth have needed work and what they sold me isn't what they now provide. I could've gotten another provider.Additionally, when the pet benefit came out I tried to use it. They had my 4 year old dog at 84 years old and another dog at exaggerated age. There was no fixing it. You were to pay and they'd reimburse you. I called ********* who did a 3-way call and told them, this is not what our contract says! Nothing was ever fixed.They changed something last year and the black card they issue hasn't worked to scan items - EVER. I have to call in each time to see my balance. ********* couldn't fix, no one could fix it's probably been a year. No one cares.I'm livid and my teeth are worsening. The customer service when I joined a year and a half ago was unbelievably good. My, how he mighty have fallen. They are terribly unprofessional and as a senior, I don't appreciate being lied to and given the run around. I can provide the absurd email exchanges if needed.

    I HAVE BEEN DISCRIMINATED BY SO MANY PEOPLE IN MY ******** ADVANTAGE PLAN CALLED ALIGNMENT HEALTHCARE. My primary doctors and pain management doctors have requested items from my insurance such as medical supplies and /or medication and appointments. Alignment does NOT care with any courtesy or respect and they see my phone number calling and they immediately HANG UP or throw me back in the Que and I have to wait ***** minutes and hung up. This has happened for 2 years. The bad part is I desperately need my meds and a 'BACK BRACE" that my primary requested MONTHS AGO and I'm still waiting and calling for the approval. I found out from the corporate office that they find doctors for their insurance but NEVER TRAIN THEM ON THE PORTAL and therefore doctors try but fail due to lack of knowledge of Alignment's portal system. This is a huge DISCONNECT and the patients like myself suffer. I will be changing to United healthcare that has been around forever. My ******** broker should be ashamed as well for pushing this alignment insurance on elders and disable people. I have had lack of service and respect for years. Please look into companies like these and help us that pay for a service. Advise them to also change their lies of their motto of being in business to help.

    My ******* care doctors wrote an RX and authorization for a mobility scooter in February I have spent countless hours going to doctors filling out paper work calling and interviews the keep giving me a different excuse everyone I've called!!! I have never spoke to the same person twice! When I call they treat me as if they have never felt with me they no nothing about the history or anything!! I've filed grievances and appeals, my health has deteriorated over the past 6 months waiting! This is just not right!!
