My coworker ********************* won a lawsuit (case# BC624742) against ****** Airlines involved lunch pay for ****** technicians based in repair stations in **********. Phoenix Class Action Administration Solutions and their administrators sent out checks to the all the winning litigants, only in **********. The initial check had errors with the written amount and the numerical amount being different dated Mar 22, 2024.I requested a replacement check on April 8, 2024 but have not received one yet. I called 31 times between April 2, 2024 and May 14, 2024. Also emailed 7 times only to receive a response from ****** on 30 April ************************************ I was told my replacement check was mailed out in early April 2024 from ********* only 39 miles from my home. Everytime I called if I spoke to someone I was told to wait another week since April 2, 2024.Attached are the images of the bad check and a screen shot of the email I received from ******.Thank you for your help.Initial Complaint

Former conworker told me about a settlement from a previous employer I reached out to phoenix class action and was told the checks where distributed back on 2/9. They informed me another check would be reissued and as of 2/19 I have yet to recieve anything and Ive never heard of a settlement check being sent regular mailInitial Complaint

This company is worthless and based on my experience and the numerous similar complaints I am reading here they should not be settlement administrators of anything. They have incorrect information about my work history and I have sent them a fax which they can't find. I sent them proof that my fax was delivered. They mishandle and misrepresent people and information. They are the most unprofessional legal-related service I have ever come across. They do not care about people or doing things right whatsoever. I was supposed to receive $1900 but they state it is $300 and refuse to acknowledge the documentation that I sent in. My documentation was not late, it was clear, it was very detailed and it was sent to the proper fax number they provided in written correspondence. So now I wonder where all my W2s with my social security number are at their "office". And no one ever answers the phone, it's all automated. Someone needs to hold them accountable for their actions and they need to correct my information and stop dancing around it and making up excuses. Meanwhile, I lose out on $1600.Initial Complaint

Phoenix Settlement Administrators issued a check to me back in March, 2022. I moved and had misplaced the check. I found the check recently and sent the company an email for a replacement. I received a response that the check could not be replaced. I provided a copy of the check and I dont believe that the funds can not be isssued. I want my funds due me.Initial Complaint

These people need to be investigated for mishandling class actions and violating class members rights along with reporting false information in the class action. A class action lawsuits was filed against my previous employer ***************************** I knew nothing about wasn't notified about it being filed. Until I received a Opt-out letter in the mail January 4, 2022. The letter due date was January 3, 2022. I made multiple attempts to contact the Phoenix Settlement Administration to let them know that letter was late and that I need to be removed from the class action due to the fact of my wage claim I waited 2 years for a hearing. When I finally got someone onel the phone and explained the issue I was told I had to speak to *************************** who was supposedly on vacation. I find it funny that she was vacation up until the approval of the class action. They gave me the run around telling a bunch of lies stalling until the class action was final. Then started making contact. They kept making seem as if I was late responding to the class action and ignored the the date on the opt out letter envelope clearly says It January 4 2022. On January 24, 2022 received a phone call from ****** asking me to email the opt out letter to her so she can show it to the judge. *************************** mislead the judge by stating I was late responding to the class action and failed to notify the judge they didn't allow any time for response. I lost everything all wages I worked for maxim failed to pay me and that resulted in me being homeless for 2 years literally in the street outside. The Phoenix Settlement Administration aided my previous employer in the wage theft. To make matters worst they reported false information in the class action about my employment. They failed to respond to all my complaints refuse to return any phone calls they basically stole everything I worked for a long with my civil rights. they think they are above the law and think it's ok mishandle class actions and violate class members rights. This is why they don't respond to any complaints they basically spit on civil rights. I read some of the complaints stating they received fake checks guess where that money went to. I got a check for $6. But in the class action it says I was paid $1500.Initial Complaint

This company sent me a letter stating they were the lawyers to a class action lawsuit that I was included in . It was a claim form that I had to send back in order to be included in the claim, and receive my part of the settlement, which I filled out and sent it back through **** to the mailing address that was provided in the letter . A few weeks later I received the letter I sent out back and it said return to sender on it , I'm not sure why . So that's when I tried to fax it to them a few times, and the fax wouldn't go through. I called and left a few voicemails and never got a call back so I kept calling until I finally got someone on the phone. I explained to the lady what the issue was and she told me I had nothing to worry about and that I didn't need to send the claim form unless I was trying to opt out of the settlement and she reassured me that I had nothing to worry about and that I didn't have to do anything else, and that I would be included in the settlement and even took down my new mailing address to make sure I received the check to the correct place. I knew the judgment was going to happen on February 22 of 2022 so I reached out in the beginning of March asking about the status of it and I was told that the settlement was approved and the checks will be sent out on March 22. I sent an email on the 27th of March asking for the status of the checks and if they were sent out on the 22nd like I was told when I called and I got a reply, asking me to verify my first and last name along with my mailing address in the last four of my social which I provided and then I was told that the checks have not been sent out yet and that they would be sent out at the end of the month and to check back the following week. So today April 3 I called to see if the checks have in fact been sent out yet and the lady who answered the phone told me I was not gonna be receiving a check because I did not send back the claim form. Completed an affidavit of forgery for a stolen check that Phoenix Administrator's mailed to the wrong address. Affidavit was sent registered mail, was received they will not contact me for any resolution. They stated they would update that was weeks ago. The check was stolen January 18, 2023, two months to get this far with the affividvat. I'm requesting an update regarding the issuance of another check. My husband received a **** showing $7,206. However, his payment from Phoenix was only $4,166. We contacted this company multiple times asking where the remaining 3k difference is from the **** that was issued and got no response besides "we are issuing a **** showing the correct amount." Ok great, but where's the 3k difference my husband is owed for his company settlement? This place is not only rude, but will avoid your phone calls, and emails. ***** is EXTREMELY rude when I tried to ask her questions regarding the **** amount. I have contacted the *** and will be reaching out to their audit department to have these guys investigated, since it seems they are conducting some type of fraudulent activity. The other complaints on the BBB site are very similar to what we are experiencing. This company needs to be looked into. People clearly are not receiving the money they are owed to them from legal settlements.Initial Complaint

Hello, My name is *****************************. I received a check from Phoenix Settlement Administrators on 3/24/2022. In reference to D'*******************************. I had no idea why. So I called the company and found out that it was for an issue with the Econo Lodge in ********* **. Some people filed a lawsuit and I was added. I remember that I also remember them telling me that I was going to receive $ ****** or more. I never signed any paperwork to hand over my rights so an attorney could handle things on my behalf. I never signed a power of attorney to D'******************************* or ************** LLC so therefore any litigation documentation should have been sent directly to me. Informing me of the process and the proceeds. Which I have not received anything but a check for $34.32 which is not going to be cashed because I was do alot more. I contacted Phoenix Settlement Administrators and was cussed out and hung up on for asking who I could speak with regarding this matter. When I called back I was informed that Phoenix Settlement Administrators is just an answering service. So I had the BBB to find out what is going on with these companies.
