Received a written quote in February 2022, signed it and gave a deposit. When the remaining balance was due in July, it was for more than what the original price was for. They also put a fake back-date of 12/2021 on the higher quote and charged me for door handles I didn't buy from them. The installation date was changed 5 times, causing me to lose money from work for having to rearrange my schedule, since they didn't reschedule until 8pm the night before when the installation was supposed to occur. Installation was originally supposed to occur in May, didn't happen until end of July due to the owner of the company continually rescheduling. When the people who installed the door came, they smoked cigarettes inside my house without permission, scratched the doors that they were installing, scratched the wrought iron of the windows on the doors that they were installing, ruined the cushioning on the handle of the windows on the doors, left a huge gap in the middle of the doors that is big enough to allow bugs to fly in, left space underneath the doors themselves on the inside of the house, and made the outside threshold so big that people trip on it - my 96 year old grandfather and my son's friends have injured themselves on it just trying to walk into my house. I've been contacting Jerry, the owner of the company, since July to either give me a partial refund on the installation so I can hire someone else to have these issues fixed, or asking him to send someone out to fix the issues - and he keeps saying that he will, but it's now almost mid-November and he has stopped returning my calls, and has not sent anyone out to fix the issues, but the issues are still there and need to be fixed. At this point, I DO NOT want this company anywhere near my house since I don't trust that they can competently fix the issues, and would like $2,000 to be refunded, as that is how much it will cost me to hire someone else to fix the issues with the doors, after receiving quotes.
