Hired VC Contracting for 3 different jobs, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a disaster. From start to finish, VC Contracting demonstrated a level of unprofessionalism that I never thought possible. Incomplete and Poor Quality Work: VC Contractings assistant is a hard working individual, he never had any supervision or guidance from the owner. The quality of VC Contractings work on the other two projects is subpar, with scratches in the wood, uneven/different paint, crooked lines, uneven surfaces, and uneven drawer levels. It's evident that attention to detail is not in his skill set. *************** seemed to be an alien concept. He was unable to meet one single timeline. He would text us that he was 15 mins away, show up 90 mins later, text us that he was here, then sit in his truck for almost 45 mins before coming in to give us ridiculous excuses for why he was so late. He was always late for appointments. Punctuality was not a priority for him. He displayed a shocking lack of transparency when it came to finances. After agreeing upon a quote, he consistently requested additional funds to either pay his assistant (which after befriending, he informed us that he had not been paid) or for new equipment that he needed to compete the job. His inability/unwillingness to properly budget and emotionally charged request for money felt like a never-ending cycle of financial demands.Rarely answered messages promptly, sometimes writing unintelligible words, left us in the dark about the progress of the projects. He is a complete nightmare. His license expired after we signed the contract with him and he is unable to secure a bond for a license renewal. The incomplete, shoddy work, chronic tardiness, constant financial demands, and lack of communication have left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring this him to think twice and explore more reliable and professional options in the industry.
