    I am requesting a full refund from **************** *** (aka Righteous Rentals) at **********************************. On Jan 14, 2024 I booked at stay at a 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen at *************************************************************** to begin on January 31, 2024 and end on March 1, 2024 (see confirmation email). On January 14th I also signed the attached rental contract. I was charged $3386 for the stay. That equates to $99 per night plus taxes (see advertisement below). Contract is not valid Note that ********** law 1102-1102.17 (2022) requires landlords to provide tenants with a written disclosure, prior to signing a rental agreement, when they know, or have reason to know, that mold exceeds permissible exposure limits or poses a health threat. The Centers for Disease Control states "If you can see or smell mold, a health risk may be present." I was not informed of any potential for mold on the property until January 25, 2024. On January 25, 2024 I received check in instructions.The unit and its replacement were uninhabitable due to intense fish smell, visable mold on walls, and inadequate security (door would not unlock from outside). See attached letter.

    Firstly, I'd like to thank Greg and the Righteous Rentals team for taking care of my vacation rental over the past 2 years. Greg is the property manager you want! He filled me on tips and tricks to add the perfect touches to my vacation rental, from the small toiletries to the bottles of wine left for our guests. Greg was great at communicating and letting me know the things going on with my property. If I ever had questions, he was quick to respond. Having Greg as a property manager meant that I didn’t have to worry about the behind the scenes things such as cleaning, landscaping/pest control, replenishing supplies,the overall maintenance of my home or bookings. He handled it all. I can confidentially recommend him to the seasoned vacation rental owner and those just staring out as well!
