I rented a 3 bedroom condo at ****************'s Resort in ********************** through Vimex for 5 weeks commencing January 14/23 , which cost was paid in full prior to check-in as per our contract. Towards the end of the 2nd week I wrote Vimex and informed them of 2 issues. The first was that there was no hot water in the master bedroom sink and the second and more problematic was that two burners on the stovetop only worked on maximum, regardless of the setting, which made it near impossible to prepare meals which required all burners at the same time. These two issues were not rectified during my entire stay.*******, Vimex manager knew of the stove which was a longstanding issue, (as per her communication Feb 17th), and yet didn't ensure it had been repaired prior to my check-in, nor did she inform me of this situation when I booked or upon check-in.Upon my departure and check-out, I asked for some compensation/reimbursement for the inconvenience these two issues had caused me, and of course the fact I was rented a condo under false pretenses, being that it was supposed to be fully functional.Vimex seeming takes direction from the condo owner without question, who refused me any compensation and they seemingly have no ability or willingness to hold the owner accountable, unlike Airbnb can and does. Vimex as well refused to compensate me itself for renting me the condo knowing there were deficiencies, not ensuring said deficiencies were rectified prior to my check-in and for not addressing them while I was there, when I made a complaint.Playing the "Helpless" card and saying there was nothing they could do is unacceptable and irresponsible as I was Vimex's client and I did not receive what I contracted for, hence compensation/reimbursement is warranted and justified. Where it come from is not my concern.
