As part of a medical study compensation, I received a **** debit card issued by *****************. I successfully used the card several times; however, since June 30 the card has been denied at *******, ****** and ******. There is a small balance of $14.23 (verified by the phone number on the back of the card) that should be accessible. What can I do to spend down this final amount? I was attending a focus group I call focus groups of America and their issuer is ************* which I guess monitors are distribute **** card for this company however there are numerous charges on this account that will not issued by me for work issues by me and I wanted a refund I had a gift card that was stolen I was speaking with ******* assistance they told me I have to contact the issue of sudden I mean issue of the **** card from sending back I did that and it still I refusing to refund my moneyBusiness Response

I find it very odd discriminating and biased in every form and fashion because this this company focus groups of America are the card holders they're also allowable and responsible for any action that happens with a individual's card that was issued by them included for my understanding this back that they use they are accredited to them so in this becoming a vacuum forth thing back and forth game for them and I'm the laughing stock because I'm the one that's out of money this is the same company focus group of America that you have to reach out to in order for Mr ***** to pay me my money that he went against the sponsor of that focus group and did not want to pay me but thanks to you I was picked and this is a homeboy issue I hate it to deal with it but it is what it is and someone needs to put them in their place both parties the bank and focus group focus group of America and they need to give me some money you know and I would be gratefully happy and you won't follow anything elseInitial Complaint

I tried to ask the *** for help they would not listen, just kept ***eating once cancelled its cancelled. Just rude would not try to help or work with or listen to me. I filed this complaint the same day 4/7/25. I received this card as part of a health survey. Didnt even realize it had expired date. Tried to tell the ***resentative this shuts would not address my issue just kept ***eating the cancel phrase.Customer Answer

I received a $50 gift card after participating in a medical survey. Apparently the card had expiration date of 3/25. Called to see if it could be reissued was told very rudely once expired its expired and nothing could be done. Its not that far past the date. I was also in the hospital at that time tried to explain was told again it didnt matter once it expires it done just rude customer service, didnt even try to help.Business Response

We understand how frustrating it can be to be unable to access funds you were expecting to use, and were sorry to hear about the disappointment youve experienced.
A review of the details of your reward card and the interaction you had with Virtual Incentives has been completed. The card was issued on September 4, 2024, with a six-month term, and an expiration date of March 31, 2025. This expiration date was included in the card disclosures and would also have been entered as part of the phone-based registration process.
Virtual Incentives administers cards based on the guidelines set forth by the sponsoring organization. In this case, the program does not authorize the reissuance or extension of expired cards. As such, we are unable to take further action on the expired card.
We recognize that this outcome may be disappointing, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this has caused.Initial Complaint

Executive escalations of ********,I have been waiting 6 months for the remaining refunds that were due when ********, in association with ******************** agreed that my disputed debits were unauthorized and entitled to refunds. To date, I was only partially refunded, & a list of associated debits remain unresolved. I demand the refunds on the remaining debits that total over $17,000 of losses.If this is not addressed by management and resolved, litigation will commence. I previously filed better business bureau complaints against ******** and you responded that the refunds were processing. In good fath I have waited all this time, but I am now reminding you for the last time that I am still owed on the remaining debits. I am providing you a copy of the 9/23/23 update, which outlines what was refunded, and not refunded yet. Obviously they are all related and all must be refunded.
