I have been sent two unsolicited credit cards within a couple of months. After receiving the second card I decided to file a *** complaint. What if this card was stolen from my mailbox and used. I don't know who these people are or have I ever done business with them or any affiliates that I am aware of. I have attempted to contact them when time permitted but they were closed. I don't want this to have an adverse affect on my personal or business credit. In my research it looks like they did this same thing to others. I need it to stop NOW and some assurance from them this will halt and not occur again, and I won't have any issues with my credit as a result of this unwanted tactics to gain business.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/14) */ We apologize to Mr. **** for any confusion and concern caused by his receipt of a Platinum Business Account offer from ForwardLine Financial, LLC ("ForwardLine"). The offer Mr. **** received in the mail from ForwardLine was an offer of business financing. This offer was sent based upon information ForwardLine received from the credit bureau********* **************************************"). ********* provided ForwardLine with the names and contact information of businesses that, based upon specific requirements provided by ForwardLine, prequalify for one of ForwardLine's financing products. In order to take advantage of the offer received, the recipient must complete an application for financing and independently verify certain information. Mr. **** should be assured that no credit has been opened on behalf of his business. Pursuant to Mr. ****'s request, ForwardLine has opted him and his business out of any further marketing solicitations from ForwardLine. In conclusion, ForwardLine prides itself on excellent customer service and regret that Mr. **** was concerned by our direct mail marketing piece. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/12/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I receive solicitations for my business from a number of companies, but never have I received a physical credit card. Not only was it sent once but it was sent twice. This practice used by this company could be damaging should a physical credit card be stolen from the mailbox. We live in a society where criminals take advantage of opportunities like this. Unfortunately those who have decent credit could fall victim to this unsolicited solicitation. I don't mind getting a mailer looking to aquire my business, but a physical credit card is ridiculous and dangerous. So no I don't accept their canned response. Do better ForwardLine, and find another way! Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2023/01/03) */ We apologize to Mr. **** for overlooking his rebuttal. Although the card enclosed in the mailer looked like a physical credit card, it is stated in the mailer and on the back of the card that it is not. We would like to reassure Mr. **** that each application for business financing goes through an extensive ownership and identity verification process to flag fraudulent activities, and no one other than the confirmed owner of a business is able to obtain business financing from ForwardLine. We hope this addresses Mr. ****'s concerns. Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2023/01/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I have no other choice as to accept the weak response/resolution, especially given this obviously isn't something that matters to them they put the issue on the back burner for an entire year. This is a horrible means of doing business, I just won't do business with them even if he opportunity arises. I will however complain again if I get another lame Credit Card from them. Lastly given the options of rating them from 1 to 10 they would be the lowest of '1'. *** thank you for your follow up.

I received an actual, physical credit card from ForwardLine. I did not order this credit card. If someone had stolen this from my mailbox they could have activated it and racked-up a lot of debt in my name. This practice is without conscience. This company needs to be stopped from doing this.

On 10/15/21 we received a ******** credit card from Forwardline under our**** business name to our home address but it's in the name of an individual we do not know. We spent hours trying to contact the company and they said they get their information directly from ********. Their only option for us was to not send mail to us anymore which does not resolve the issue of fraud at all! We spent more time trying to contact ******** and could not get a human to answer the phone call. We tried to pull a credit report but it was only gaged to personal accounts, not business accounts. I pulled a report under my personal name but the business account didn't even show up even though I am a partner. We believe this is ********** and an identity ***** situation but cannot get any resolution! I will also be reporting ******** in this matter.
