    Contracted for home remodel I November 2024. Work started December 2024. N***** ******** and Pembroke abandoned the project on January 17 2025.

    Left two bathrooms non functional. Incomplete paint, plumbing and electrical. Took $140,000 in payment. Never returned.

    My neighbor C**** **** (cell # ###-###-####) husband of the property owner Lisa Fong at 1930 24th St st. unit B Oceano Ca, paid for a roof overlay completed on February 2024, from Penrose Construction at **** ******* Nipomo, California 93444, Cell number ###-###-####. My neighbor gave me a quote of 12k for half, a total of 24k for the whole condo. On 6/20/24 I received a photo from Penrose (N*****) with my side with missing caps near the work completed and on the far side. The roofers deny removing any roof caps only setting materials on my side. I had to inform the laborers it's only the neighbors side to be done because they were setting up and performing work on my side, I was unaware of what they had actually done. I have been at my residents for four years and my mom was the previous owner for 18 years. We have never seen roofing material (roof caps) around or near the property. Penrose Construction insists on only repairing the missing caps near the work they performed and not the missing caps in the distance having no fault in the missing caps. Two reasons I believe they are not being truthful; one being that they are operating without a contractors license and two I had to communicate with the laborers to move the ladder off my property and inform them my side is not to be worked on. I have text messages over a period of a month that they will repair the roof (only the damages they had caused).
