Regarding Shopify's abusively unattainable customer service: Due to an illness over 8 years taking away my ability to manage the store, I have been forced to close everything down, including cell phone, expensive business email host site and I'm attempting to close down Shopify store. Unfortunately in my traumatized haze of illness, I closed down my cell phone and biz email before closing my Shopify store down. Then unexpectedly Shopify decided to force me to sign in from scratch AFTER I cancelled my cell phone, which Shopify hadn't in months so I could not have anticipated that would happen, PARTICULARLY during such illness. Needless to say without a cell phone they can no longer provide the 2-step authentication code required to sign in, which they said was ok but I am STILL locked out of my store and in the process 2 orders have come in that I cannot process or refund their money. The orders are very late in being processed and I don't have any way to know who placed the orders.I have already spoken to a Shopify *** via chat and she opened the case to get me access to my store. In addition I have already sent in Gov ** photo and 3 snapshots of me, along with names of my customers so they know this isn't a scam. She expressed satisfaction with the proof I'd provided and confirmed that Shopify knows I am the factual ******** my complaints are these: 1. It is now5 days later and still no access link to the correct acct that links me to my store so I can process orders and then closed down store asap. Shopify is not contacting me in any timely fashion regarding the importance of this issue bc I cannot have one more customer buy products on my now unmanaged store that I am locked out of.2. In order to even speak to a Shopify *** to begin with, I had to just barely open another account as if I was a new customerto get Shopify's attentionbc incompetent chat wasn't willing to provide me with customer service by a human until I did that. Thoroughly unacceptable.Initial Complaint

I purchased hearing aids advertised on the internet on May 3 for a total of ****** charged to my credit card. I received them on May 13. The order numbers provided by Shopify are ***** (*****) and ***** (******). There was an expedited shipping charge of 9.95. The total is ******.I exchanged emails with ***** at Ozzihome Support several times prior to receiving the product. Since requesting information on how to return the product for a refund, I have not received a reply. The product was advertised with a 120 no questions asked return policy. The ***** ** was advertised with Bluetooth connectivity, which the ** I received doesn't have. I sent an email asking about the Bluetooth connectivity but received no reply. I think I may be a victim of a scam.Initial Complaint

(See attached screenshots of their guarantee and chat logs confirming this promise.)Nature of the ******************* failed to deliver a winning Shopify store as promised.Their work did not meet expectations, and I have requested that they delete/scrap the site due to its poor quality.Despite meeting the stated criteria for a full refund, they have refused to reimburse ***** verify if they were still offering this guarantee, I posed as a new customer, and their representative confirmed they still promise a full refund for dissatisfaction. (See attached evidence.)Their advertising is extremely misleading, and their guarantee appears to be fraudulent bait to attract customers without any intention of honoring it.Attempts to Resolve the ***************** has ignored my refund requests and has refused to acknowledge their money-back guarantee. They have not attempted to resolve the issue in any way.Advertising Misrepresentation:Their "100% Money-Back Guarantee" is prominently displayed on their website, but they do not honor it.Their live chat agents continue to falsely claim they provide full refunds for dissatisfaction, despite proof that this is untrue.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of $5,952, as clearly stated in their money-back guarantee. If they refuse to refund me, I would like the BBB to flag them for deceptive business practices to prevent future customers from being misled.*******************************************Initial Complaint

I have been using Shopify for a small business since 2019. This year about 6 months ago I was notified by Shopify that i did not pay for a theme used for my website. I have records showing i paid for everything. Shopify decided to take my store down and continue to bill my account for their services. They billed account last 5-6 months. I spoke to a few people and didn't get anywhere. They kept sending me to different areas on their website but no answers why the account continued to get billed. I would like them to refund the last 5 months of the bill which was $48.99 per month. If they are doing this to me they are doing it to other people.Initial Complaint

I purchased a plan for $599 to build a website and the deciding factor to buy was because they had a 100% money back guarantee. After my purchase they initially told me I had to purchase another license for the types of products I was selling that was going to be $1,000. I dodged them for a while because I was weighing options. They eventually told me I wouldnt have to pay anything extra because we could set up on another platform. I agreed to this. Then they told me I would have another $200 fee for their hosting. I told them I wouldnt pay that and they eventually told me I wouldnt have to pay that. So I have good reason to believe they are trying to scam me out of as much money as possible. I have received $0 worth of anything from their work and I dont wish to work with them anymore for good reason. I requested they send my $599 back and have stopped responding
