            I was not adequately notified of the cancellation of my policy for my recently purchased home. I closed on my home on April 28th of this year. Payment for my home insurance policy was included in the closing cost paid in full a day prior to closing. I received an untimely notification via snail mail on Tuesday, May 30th stating my home insurance policy was canceled by IHL Home Insurance Agency in the month of April due to not receiving payment. IHI Home Insurance Agency has multiple more appropriate and timely means to contact the me, yet they failed to contact me until a month after they canceled the policy. I immediately contacted IHL Home Insurance Agency via phone and email to address this major issue. IHL Home Insurance Agency lacked urgency in notifying the policy holder of a time sensitive and crucial issue of the home buying process. h IHL Home Insurance Agency continues to lack urgency on this issue as it has not yet been resolved and my policy still as not been reinstated even though I made the payment over a month ago.
