We tried to purchase a car here and told them exactly what we had to spend and were looking for strictly in that budget they guaranteed they had something in stock we get there and before showing us any vehicle they start running credit and asking for cosigner's and such. When asked why they said they only had card vet ***** and didn't have any used vehicles . A couple days later I see ad for exactly what I'm in the market for go down there see the car right in front of the lot big red sale sign when I ask about it they tell me its gonna be going to the shop to get serviced and that it won't start . This car has been on their sister website for about a week or more . Maybe it's because I'm asking for the Fed instant credit and I have a ***** incentive .If that's the case why not withdraw from programs offering such incentives? Why are they on a authorized dealer list when they obviously have no interest in redeeming the grants?

Dalton toyota formerly known as ***** toyota in National City has gone from bad to worst.I have purchase my brand new vehicles at that location, unfortunate that dealership their techs and service writers' are dishonest, they will try to sell you services or stuff that you do not need, and some techs will NOT inspect your vehicle properly but they will try to push to sell other services like alignments, i am a retired certified auto mechanic, and most times i had issues with the low quality service and spoke to service writers and point out with facts how some of their techs are dishonest, and had them rectified the issues, because of the constant problems with these particular dealership, management has opted to refuse to provide service to my vehicle under the excuse that (they do not meet my expectations) when all i did it was to point out their techs and s.w. need to do better and not rip off customers. Service managers ****************** those are the ones who ban me from having service at their location. i asked ********* the lady who schedules the appointments, to help me get in touch with the General manager, she transfer me to ***** the general manager and his voice mail answered, i left a message, and this G.M. has not have the courtesy of returning my call or email me .i have contacted BBB and file a complaint against these dealership plus i might seek legal advice, wonder why they ban me just because i point out their dishonesty? i did not even cause any disturbances or attack anyone physically. because of their action now i have to drive miles away to another dealership to have my car service.I believe these people should apologize to me, and be remove from their position or be fired.

As a loyal customer, having been with you since the days of ***** Toyota, I expected a certain level of professionalism and customer care. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me feeling greatly let down. On November, I brought my Highlander 2022 to Dalton Toyota for a service appointment, during which **** served as my service advisor. After assessing my vehicle, **** informed me that the water pump needed to be replaced. Trusting his expertise and relying on the reputation of Dalton Toyota, I agreed to the necessary repair and paid in full for the replacement. To my surprise and dismay, **** then informed me that the part was not available in stock and needed to be ordered. Although I understood that parts may sometimes need to be ordered, I assumed that your dealership would be proactive in ensuring necessary parts are readily available or would promptly communicate any potential delays. Regrettably, the order for the water pump took more than 10 days, leaving me without my vehicle during this time. When I requested a refund due to the extended delay and the fact that I no longer had the vehicle, **** had the audacity to claim that I had not paid for the part yet. This is a blatant lie and brings into question the integrity of the service staff at Dalton Toyota. As a result of this entire ordeal, I have lost faith and trust in Dalton Toyota. I expected better treatment as a loyal customer with a longstanding history at your dealership. This experience has tarnished the reputation you had built over the years and has left me contemplating whether I should continue to **************** of my vehicle to your dealership. I strongly urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate actions to address the issues at hand. I also request a full refund for the water pump replacement as the service was not provided in a timely manner, causing unnecessary inconvenience and financial loss. I trust that you will address this complaint promptly
