We went to a presentation in ******* ******** and were misguided has to what we were receiving and buying. It was a way to get our maintenance fees paid. The representative told us all our points could be deposited and the financial officer assigned to us would contact us. This was a way to help pay our maintenance fees. He said this Person would contact us about managing our points. No contact from any financial officer at all. When I called ******* and spoke with someone they had no idea what I was talking about. The only program they have is Vacationshare which you list you property and they try to rent it out The amount you get for renting no where near enough to pay your maintenance fee. We purchased property solely for that reason. Now we are left owing ***** which is a lot when you are in your 70's. We would like to cancel the contract. This happened on April 28 th 2025

I did not authorize anyone to pull credit on me nor did I signing anything prior to being roped as a owner again for more money. The length of the contract was signed by me only because we know longer wanted me on the loan, however because I had paid into the first contract I would be able to use the time share. In December of 2024 at the Club Wyndham ******************* located in *******, we were asked to completed a routine owner update (See item 1). We were charged $40.00 just for us to go to an owner update to hold an appointment that we did not want nor asked for. We were later refund the money after setting thought a 5-hr. update. We decided to remove my name as the Owner and make me an authorized user of the account Only, to make this happen they pulled credit on Coshell NOT ***** on or around December 1st or 3nd 2024. The old account was to be removed from my name and the new account placed in just Coshells name (See Item 2 account details). I had to be present to sign due to us being a joint owner of the original account. I continued to ask that I was just a user and I was reissued of this hence, why my credit was not being ran. I found out in March ***** the old account was removed and a new account was placed on my credit report for $40,000 by Wyndham. I did not authorize an inquiry of my credit to be pulled nor did they confirm/verify I had employment to even pay for a $40,000 timeshare prior to this account being placed on my credit. There are NO inquiries on my Credit report pulled by Wyndham for this timeframe. Short of me signing the paper work which was to ensured I was properly removed, not to be Financially responsible for an Account I could not have afforded to pay for at this amount.

My wife and I were doing a presentation pitch at the ************** location in *********, *********. ******** location. You were very adamant about not being in a position to buy right now because of personal and professional reasons. I believe that once it was made a parent to me multiple people in the office, they literally called the dog on us.A short stocky man was sent over to us and he was beyond rude he was verbally abusive and not only that, his service dog responded to his tone and began to come towards us in an aggressive manner. He yelled at the dog to go back to the door and the look on my wifes face was beyond disturbing. As we were leaving he continued to yell at us because we didnt purchase a package and as we stood at the front we heard others laughing. This is completely unacceptable that we were pretty much being threatened to purchase and when we didnt we were attacked. The guy very proudly acclaimed that he is a marine veteran. His behavior is completely out of control and apparently the rest of the office thinks that his behavior is completely accepted and also funny. He needs to be fired immediately! And the rest of the office needs to be directed in a more professional manner. Please keep me updated on the progress of this complaint.

My mom and I got conned into the Wyndham ***************** several years ago. She passed away in January and I started the process of getting out of Wyndham through their "Certified Exit" program. Supposedly, according to their website it is a quick and stress free process. It is now 6/16/2025 and I was just told that I have to wait an additional 20 weeks to get out. I am a single parent, paying exorbitant maintenance fees on a timeshare I have no intention on using since my moms death. I also just found out that I cannot use my member points to offset the maintenance fee costs anymore. I just WANT OUT. I cannot keep affording these fees as a single parent. No one i talk to at the numbers listed on the website care that I can't afford this anymore. I just want out and they are making it extremely difficult. I am hoping by contacting you that maybe the process can speed up a little.

On April *******, I called to cancel a reservation with a Wyndham ************** When I was done with the cancellation I was asked to stay on the line for a CS survey. Instead it was a sales person that kept pushing me to purchase a $149 package in which I would get all my money back in a gift card and there would be zero cost to me for a 3 night hotel stay. I did not understand what this meant and was given false information. I was told there would be no hidden fees or catch to this. Later in the mail, I was sent a Club Wyndham confirmation. In the fine print they outlined fees and the agreement I would buy a timeshare from them. The deadline for cancellation is past. I still want to cancel and be refund as I was tricked and coerced to sign up for this. We are now expected to purchase a time share from Club Wyndham as part of this deal. We do not want this, and want a full refund. This is not new for Club Wyndham, and they have a long history of court cases being filed for fraudlent business practices. I called them and asked for a refund and I was told as I am past the deadline for refunds, there is nothing they can do. Club Wyndham confirmed they have my $149.00 payment, but will not approve a refund based on my concerns. I request the help of BBB in fighting this.

In October 2023 I visited ********* with a friend. The stay was completed with her timeshare. We checked in; I was asked if I was a member and I said yes. We were both signed up for a sales presentation separately. Both of us were told the presentation would be 90 minutes. She finished and came looking for me. I was with the salesperson, ******* ******, for over 3 hours. I was told by ******* that Wyndham could lower my payments. I told him I would be retiring in July of 2024 and I would not have the funds I currently have, so I was not interested in purchasing. Thats when I was told they could lower my payments. I had a deeded property from **************** in ************** that would be incorporated. So, with the understanding my payments would be lower, I agreed to the sale.I had worked hard to lower my debt in preparation for my retirement. It was not my plan to acquire more debt knowing I would be making half of what I was making after July ******* April of 2024, I attended a party weekend at the *************** in ********. During the sales presentation, ****** ******* informed me Wyndham currently had new services that were not available in October of 2023. In order to get the maximum benefits from my purchase, I needed to add these services. One of those services was an earner credit card. Another was a travel and leisure service. Before I knew what was going on, I was $60,000 in debt. By the time its paid off, it would have cost me over $124,000.00. I dont have this kind of money in retirement, and the accumulating debt has already created a significant financial strain. I live on a fixed income and carefully budgeted for my retirement to ensure I could sustain myself, cover medical expenses, and avoid financial insecurity. These added obligations from Wyndham have completely disrupted my financial plans and are pushing me toward financial distress.I was assured during the sales process that this purchase was a safe investment

I made a reservation at the Club Wyndham Inn on the Harbor in **********. They advertised two room types on the website, harbor view and city view, at different prices. My reservation was specifically for a harbor view room. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, they put me in a city view room and indicated that no harbor room view rooms were available. The manager said that I had to call for a refund because he couldn't give any refunds. I left and went to another hotel. While on my way, my wife called the number and was then directed to another number. That person agreed to give a refund and actually said that they don't advertise specific room types, which simply isn't true (I have screen shots and the reservation confirmation email). About a week after my failed check in, I actually got a call from Wyndham customer service apologizing and saying that the refund usually takes a few days so I should keep looking and expect it soon. The refund still hasn't arrived after a month. In the meantime, I also disputed the charge with Amex, and the hotel claimed to Amex that I cancelled or actually stayed in the room, it's hard to tell which. I've never stayed in a Wyndham before, and I don't think I ever will.

Wyndham Destinations is not honoring the specific verbiage of my contract ************ that awards me ******* timeshare points every year. The specific wording is "Owner understands that becoming a member of CLUB WYNDHAM Plus will be allocated ******* CLUB WYNDHAM Plus Points ("Points") on an annual basis with regard to the Smugglers Notch Fixed Deeded Week No. 25 in Unit AC15 and that the use year is January 1st through December 31st." All attempts to contact Wyndham Destinations about this have resulted in 'stonewalling' by the company.
